The place itself was fine, staff were friendly and helpful to a point- they seemed concerned that doing certain things would get them in trouble with the owner.
The kitchen is a microwave a fridge a sink a kettle and a toaster, no oven or hob and there's shared braai areas.
On first impression as its in the main road we were concerned but once in the hotel it was actually good. We did have a room at the back and didnt hear any traffic noise there were 2 rooms closer to the road which may have suffered.
The only real problem we had was actually in booking and paying before we arrived. When we booked the website said we would pay on arrival, the hotel then tried to take payment from our account (there wasnt any money in said account so it was declined) chris then explained our booking would be cancelled without immediate payment in full, as we hadn't envisaged spending that money in September we asked to pay half on 25th sept and the other half 25th oct to which chris agreed, it was only upon trying to hire a car in early october that we found they had taken the second payment early- therefore blocking our account and leaving us stranded at the airport without a card to secure the car hire, i then had to use an international card for which there was a charge (in summary we were charged close to r800 in bank charges because of the hotels error) up on emailing regarding the issue the reply just thanked us for payment and confirmed our booking was paid in full.
