I was astounded…
As soon as I opened the door, I was met with the overwhelming odor of urine. The bathroom reeked of that smell. I had to keep the bathroom door closed to try to contain the nasty smell. Please use Tilex or at least Fabuloso to get rid of that rank smell. It was disgusting. The comforters on the beds had holes in them. They were paper thin. One bed was so worn down, it sagged like a body had been lying there for years. The floors looked clean, but they were sticky with residue. I seriously don’t care if the photos on the walls and light fixtures are from 1962, but for the sake of humanity, clean the place and replace the beds. I only wish I could add a photo of that smell, but the app doesn’t have scratch’n’sniff. I will say the only positive was that it was quiet. I was traveling and tired or I would have refused to stay there.

This was a two nights day the first night I killed one cockroach the second night I killed 19 cockroaches before I checked out out of complete disgust

Stink Bugs Galore
We choose this motel based off of little availability in the Knoxville area. When we checked in to the room we noticed there were two stink bugs on the wall. We were in a hurry, so no big deal. Threw them outside and went on to the UT game. When we returned, that night in total we killed 17 stink bugs. The next morning when I spoke to the front desk on the matter, I was told it had been sprayed and that's all they can do. Room was bare minimum. 2 pillows and 2 blankets. Guess you get what you pay for but normally $120 gets you better than that. Would not recommend staying here!

I don't recommend this particular Motel 6. Opened the door and was hit in the face by awful cigarette smoke smell. Toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall, floors were sticky,(don't recommend going without shoes), wall outlets were rusty. You get what you pay for I guess.
