78 Beach Road cottage offers deluxe self-catering accommodation with beautiful 180 degree sea views. The cottage is situated in Kleinmond, a UNESCO-declared Biosphere between Betty’s Bay and Hermanus, and a mere 4 minutes’ drive from the Kleinmond blue flag status beach. Designed for the ultimate holiday experience where family memories of a lifetime are made, this private home offers the genuine beach holiday with upmarket styling and features fulfilling guests’ every need.
The front patio doors open wide onto a large deck which has extraordinary views of the lush seaside greenery and the cool surf splashing on the rocks. Towards the back of the cottage expansive sliding doors lead to a quaint splash pool and terraced garden. An added bonus is a huge open stand being part of the property, where kids and pets can play their hearts out. A separate gym room completes the stay for avid sport enthusiasts. The external hot-cold shower enables cooling down or washing sand off your feet after a day at the beach.
The finely furnished home can accommodate 6 plus 2 children (if the sleeper couch is used) and comprises 3 bedrooms, with an additional entertainment area that can be converted into a 4th room. The main en-suite bedroom contains a queen-size bed. The en-suite bathroom has a comfortable shower. The second bedroom also contains a queen-size bed and the third bedroom comprises two single beds. These rooms share an adjoining bathroom with a bath. The back entertainment area has a comfortable bathroom with shower and can be converted into a sunny 4th bedroom.
The house comprises an open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge with massive braai/BBQ area acting as a fireplace for winter months as well. The kitchen is equipped with a top-of-the-range fridge/freezer, a gas hob and electric oven, a microwave, a kettle and toaster, a coffee machine; and a dishwasher, washing machine and tumbler dryer in the scullery, as well as cleaning materials. In the dining area is a big flatscreen tv. Another smaller tv is located in the back entertainment room. Free WiFi is available. An inverter (backup system) ensures that power outages don’t affect the quality of the guest’s stay.
Guests can enjoy the private garden, as well as the outdoor splash pool. Secure parking on the property is available as well as off-street parking, and the property is secure with an alarm system. Part of the cottage runs on a gas heater system, which is an added feature for periods of load shedding / power outage.
