Stay in Guelph
The property was extremely clean and well maintained. The neighbourhood was quiet, restaurants and grocery stores were about a 3 - 4 minute drive away very convenient. The host was very responsive in terms of replying. I would recommend and stay again. One note, I was unaware of an additional temporary charge (hold on credit card) in terms of a security deposit for the rental. It was only a temporary hold but I was unaware of that and the i.d. check in scan (photo) having utilized other rentals before. It is understandable and reasonable, but I was unaware. It may have been in the contract, and I overlooked it, but it was a non-issue in any event. If I did overlook it that is my fault. If I did not and it was not advised beforehand, I would recommend advising persons beforehand.

No local host, no knowledge of a basement unit when another family came to our door saying they were there to check in, several holes in the wall, no stopper in bathtub, loose kitchen faucet. Lawn was out of control until someone came to mow, temperature in unit was inconsistent, also smart tv required personal account log in for any apps and no local content was available. Convenient location and unit was clean and roomy, but phone communication came from a call center in Alabama when texting did not suffice. Would not rent here again.
