Come home to a lovely, roomy, bright accommodation 2 blocks up from the beach! We are close to many ski areas, hiking, and biking trails! Located in King's Beach, we offer you a nice combination of lake and mountain access in a peaceful neighborhood setting!
The Space:
We are excited to welcome you to our friendly town for a peaceful, pleasant, and relaxing vacation! Our home becomes yours during your stay!
Spacious and perfect for 3 or 4 people. Groups up to 5 welcome.
LIVING AREA
Make your way into the living room featuring large windows that provide great views of the tree-filled backyard. It is fully carpeted and has an inviting sofa and an HD flat-screen TV + Wifi! A welcoming space where you want to cozy up with a cup of hot chocolate or a good book!
There is an additional folding twin bed stored in the living room closet.
NOTE: The fireplace is for decorative purposes only.
KITCHEN & DINING
Fully equipped with a coffee maker, electric kettle and other appliances providing everything you need to feel at home!
Enjoy a peak view of Lake Tahoe through the trees from the kitchen.
BEDROOMS
Bedroom 1 has a California King Bed
Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed
Guaranteed fresh bed sheets, linens, and pillowcases!
The Master bedroom has an attached bath and direct access to the porch!
BATH
The bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels, soaps, hairdryer & basic essentials. The Master has a deep soaking tub. Both bathrooms have showers.
PARKING
Street parking is not permitted at any time- If anyone parks on the street especially when it snows, they will be towed for snow removal equipment.
Off-Street Parking for 2 cars is available. The driveway is shared with 2 other tenants, so please be considerate and don't block access.
Guest Access:
You are guests in our home. We offer you the highest quality of hospitality and want you to make yourself at home! You will be given a code for the front door prior to your arrival.
Please note there is no access to the backyard. It is a private space for the downstairs tenants. You can enjoy it from the back porch, which is accessible from either the living room or master bedroom. Enjoy the view and fresh air from upstairs.
The Neighborhood:
The house borders commercial and residential areas - there is a car wash behind, a restaurant on the corner, a mobile home park on one side, and several friendly neighbors.
Convenient walking distance to stores, gift shops, restaurants, the State Park beach!

There are tons of local outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, golf, mountain biking, rollerblading, off-roading, shopping, jet-skiing, boating, tubing, white water rafting, parasailing, fine and casual dining, fishing, hot-air ballooning, and swimming. Multiple area companies rent all necessary equipment for these outdoor experiences.
Other Things to Note:
Our home is for booked guests only. If you are meeting friends staying elsewhere, do so at a common location other than our home.
Planning a party? Kindly secure another location for the party. Our home CANNOT accommodate guests’ parties. Thank you for understanding.
Please enjoy your stay at our home and understand that this may be a different experience than staying at a hotel. Please do take that into consideration.
Check in is at 3pm. Check out is at 11 am. If you're looking to check in early or check out late, please contact us so that we can attempt to accommodate your request! However, we may be cleaning and preparing the unit for the next guest so we suggest reserving the night before or after your stay for extended hours. Feel free to arrive anytime after 3pm.
**Separate units at the ground level with separate, private entrances. They are occupied by long-term tenants. Guests still have entire main home to themselves.
**There are stairs to the front door as well as stairs inside up to the main living space.
**Please note that there will be a 10% Transient Occupancy Tax and 2% TBID collected for your reservation. This is in accordance with Placer County's regulations.
Interaction with Guests:
We're excited to meet our guests in person, however, we also love traveling and exploring the world! We may not be available during your stay so to help us manage our guest and property, we use My VR Host vacation rental management who are accessible for any questions or concerns.
