The best hostel EVER
I've stayed at many hostels in Europe, US and Brazil. For my personal experience, this was the best one. It's super cozy, clean, the staff is awesome, the beds are "private" - each one has blackout curtains, light, plugs, and are very confortable. If you pay attention on the smallest details, you notice that they took care of each of them. There are 2 kind dogs around the house, a little garden (with chickens that, sometimes, give some eggs to improve the breakfast), all the rooms are comfy, the enviroment really helps the guests to get to know each other in a very natural way. Also, there're plenty of places to go nearby, including some pubs with Irish music and plenty of good beer (of course). If I ever can go back to Kerry, I would book at least 3 nights there. Here's a very important advice: you don't need to spend a night in Portmagee or another city. You can just stay at The Black Sheep and go back in the same day. Just make sure you wake up early and check whether the roads are free (the N71 road was closed by March 2020). Kerry is amazing, I just wish I had spend more than one night at this very friendly hostel. Oh, one more thing: the posters on the walls are just a bonus to feel at home. <3
