This top story unit at the Shores of Maui offers a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean and is located on the sunniest part of the Island. It’s about 50 yards from the sand, directly across from Cove Park, a fun surfing and paddle boarding beach. It’s a one block walk to Charlie Young Beach (as a reference, it's the north end of Kama'ole Beach I), one of the finest swimming beaches on Maui!

The complex is minutes away from the resorts and shops of Wailea as well as championship golf and world class restaurants. It’s also walking distance from charming local Kihei cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries.

The condo is on the second floor of the two story complex, accessible by stairs but not elevator. The unit was remodeled including the kitchen with stainless appliances, hardwood bamboo floors in the living room/dining area and bathrooms, Samsung "Smart" 32” flat screens in each bedroom, all with DVD/BluRay players attached and free Netflix; and a new 65" 4k UHD LG Smart TV in the living room.

In the kitchen--KEURIG 2.0 PLUS SERIES single serve coffee maker. There is also a standard electric coffee maker in the kitchen.

Two or three higher quality BOOGIE BOARDS and FOUR BEACH CHAIRS.

The bedrooms are spacious and tastefully decorated--one has a king bed, the other has two queens. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

There are TWO FULL BATHS in the unit.

The unit includes a spacious lanai (balcony) with spectacular OCEAN VIEWS, wonderful for sunsets and whale-watching. There is a table and chairs to sit and relax on the lanai.

The unit has NEW CENTRAL A/C! There is a separate thermostat and control in each bedroom and the main living area. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a full size Kenmore refrigerator and includes a dishwasher, NEW MICROWAVE, toaster and rice cooker.

FREE High Speed WIFI Internet is included (private for guests in unit only)

400+ digital channels of FULL HIGH DEFINITION TELEVISION in living room and bedrooms.
Free NETFLIX enabled on TV's in all rooms.

Includes TELEPHONE with unlimited local calls as well as free calling to all of the United States, Canada, China, Hong Kong and India.

Full size LG WASHER AND DRYER in the unit.

Note that there is a mandated state of Hawaii room tax of 14.41% +3% (for Covid) added to the daily rate--Hawaii added the additional 3% tax to start effective bookings after November 1, 2021. HI is increasing tax on visitors partly because the HI government shut down the island to visitors, thereby reducing income tax revenues to the state, and now they need to bring in more revenue to make up for that loss.

Note: Every September the swimming pool is closed for 2 days for its annual deep cleaning. If you book during these 2 days, you will receive a 15% discount from the standard rental rate for those days. thx

Lovely stay in Kihei!
This lovely complex was located right across the street from Cove Beach Park and just a short walk to Charley Young beach. Could look out the window and see the sunset over the ocean every evening! We really enjoyed being able to walk to the food trucks and Foodland as well as loads of restaurants. Nice pool and hot tub in the complex. Bedrooms were really spacious. Unit isn't the most up to date, but had everything we needed and was affordable for such a great location. Thanks for a great stay!

Great condo - amazing location
We stayed 10 nights and were very happy overall. The complex is a little older but the condo is in good condition and had everything we needed. The location is great - we walked everywhere - breakfast, shopping, coffee, bars, the beach - so much stuff nearby. The beds were comfortable (the king bed in the master is pretty squeaky-wasn’t a huge deal to us but worth mentioning). We used the provided coolers, beach chairs, and towels all week. The pool and bbq common area is spacious and very clean. We would book this condo again without hesitation. Communication with the owner was great as well, he was always very responsive and was able to accommodate us extending our stay on somewhat short notice which was great.

The condo was nice and clean. Check in was a bit frustrating as we couldn’t get in until 30 minutes after check in time due to the cleaning team didn’t have the room ready. There was an issue with the AC in one room however the owner resolved the problem quickly. We would stay at this location again

Nice place to stay, and great location! It was an aging facility (musty smell in hall bathroom from some wet floor spots and the deck needs some attention). The space was nice and appliances worked well. It did have AC, however was not quite as efficient as we had hoped (but it did work!). It was nice to have the washer/dryer and many beach items to borrow. We were within walking distance to great shops, restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Views were amazing!

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Great location. We just walked across the road every evening to catch the sunset. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Just a bit up the road is a park that has a walkway along the ocean. Loved it. I absolutely recommend this property.

The condo is located in the heart of Kihei and an easy walk to many restaurants and shops. The two bedroom two bathroom layout works great with friends or family. Sit and enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony or enjoy the pool and amenities on property.

Fantastic stay in Kihei!
We didn't know much about Maui when we first booked this VRBO. We mostly were looking for something on the more affordable side near a beach that could fit a family of 5 comfortably over Christmas break. We planned to have a rental car so we could explore Maui by day and just needed a place to crash at night. Our stay at the Shores of Maui ended up being my favorite stay during our 2 week/3 island family vacation. The owner, Sam, was great with communication beforehand. We loved that the unit had plenty of beach towels, chairs, boogey boards, etc. It was easy to walk to the grocery store, tons of restaurants, and food trucks for all of our meals. Had a great view of the pool/hot tub and surfing beach from the balcony. We found lots of great beaches nearby but still decided to day trip around the island to explore. In the end, I really loved the Kihei vibe more than the other fancier areas like Wailea or Kaanapali. It was a great mix of laid back tourists and locals. Casual dining options, cute shops, surf schools, all line the street as you walk around. Gorgeous beaches and parks to stroll through and watch the sunset. We felt fortunate to be in the center of it all. The pool and hot tub were the perfect way to end our days. Wish we had a few more days! Couldn't ask for a better place to be!

This property was wonderful and had everything we needed for our vacation. It was so well stocked and had so many "extras" that we weren't expecting. Everything from all the beach gear (umbrella, chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, snorkels, coolers, etc) to kitchen supplies (plenty of spices, keurig, tupperware, lots of cups and dishes, filtered water) to other supplies (laundry soap, toilet paper, even had extra sunscreen, etc). The communication with the owner was top notch. Even when there was an issue with the microwave, he got it replaced asap. The place is showing its age a bit and being that close to the ocean, things can get rusty faster but otherwise we were very happy with our stay. Other pros: beds were comfy; huge bedrooms; amazing view from the balcony; great location (short walk to Barmuda triangle and foodland); pool was amazing; a/c and fans worked well to keep the condo cool. Would definitely stay here again!
