Nestled among stately oaks and tropical palms, 105 Pleasant Valley is an immaculate 5-bedroom property that boasts the paramount qualities of life on Kiawah Island. The home's exclusive location within Vanderhorst Plantation beyond the second security gate assures serene relaxation. The neighborhood's popularity is accentuated by its proximity to desirable amenities including the Sanctuary and Turtle Point golf course, but most notably the home is a 4 minute bike ride/ 10 minute walk along a beautiful tree-canopied path (known as the "Allee of the Oaks") directly to the beach access. Lagoon and golf course views extend across the borders of the sweeping back lawn, seamlessly integrating the coastal foliage of the Island into the exterior design.

Showcasing extensive renovations, this home features a spacious open floor plan. The vaulted ceilings throughout the entirety of living spaces create a bright and airy atmosphere for family gatherings. Capitalizing on the natural beauty of the surroundings, the home is streaming in with natural light through windows and sliding glass doors. The great room is the perfect gathering space with abundant seating and calming coastal colors, while a second-story media room overlooks the living space below.

The kitchen features a beautiful custom Italian tile backsplash, recessed lighting, a large center island seating 6, and an abundance of cabinet space. A chef's paradise, the professional-grade kitchen guarantees five-star cooking for every meal. The adjacent dining room, seating 10. is perfect for gatherings of friends, family, and guests.

A spacious luxurious primary suite with a King bed, overlooking Turtle Point fairway # 6 and a lagoon, is the perfect retreat after a fun day on the beach, bicycling or playing golf. The newly renovated primary bath features a shower and tub as well as his and her sinks with a private toilet room. Additionally, three other guest bedroom suites have King beds (one in guest house over the garage with its own beverage fridge and twin pull out sofa for a small child) ensuring that family members and visitors are able to rest in utmost comfort. Four of the five bedrooms have King beds and ensuite full baths. The fifth bedroom located upstairs adjacent to the media room (with a queen size sofa bed) has extra long twin beds and a private bath.

Some of the most charming features of this home are found in the exterior spaces. Residents will spend hours on the expansive rear deck, running the length of the house - evening chats alfresco dining with friends or watching Kiawah's incredible wildlife. 105 Pleasant Valley is an ideal retreat, perfect for endless coastal relaxation. One of our favorites is the custom artwork displayed throughout for a truly personal and colorful touch!

When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights you will receive a valuable credit of up to $280 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice is required.

No smoking, no pets, fireplace and garage access are NOT available for guest use.

Access to Kiawah's 5 Championship Golf Courses – including The Ocean Course – the location of the 2021 PGA Championship; The Kiawah Island Resort Tennis Center; the Sanctuary spa, shopping, dining, and family friendly resort activities including Kamp Kiawah. Free Wireless Internet Access; Local Property Management staff is on hand in case of emergencies and their friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff can assist you with any needs throughout your stay. Distance to Beach
Our family loved the house and its amenities. The pond in the backyard fascinated our grandchildren and the back deck was shaded and comfortable. Management was top notch to deal with prior to and during our stay. The only thing that will prevent our family from returning to this property is the 20 minute walk to the beach. Though the walk was beautiful and allowed daily exercise it was difficult with young children and carting umbrellas, chairs etc.

Beautiful and Quiet Property
Our family of 8 adults and 3 children slept comfortably at this location and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location. Kiawah Island is absolutely beautiful. If you’re unfamiliar with the area, you should know that Kiawah Island is exclusive, secluded, and populated with very beautiful and expensive homes and golf courses. Very much like the Hamptons of SC. There aren’t a lot of amenities on the Island itself but there are a few shops, restaurants, and a grocery store on the Island at prices you would expect for a resort location. If you need something off the island, it’s about a 30-40 minute drive. The home was beautiful and sits on a golf course but close enough to the tee box where you didn’t have to worry about getting hit by a stray ball. The property was well equipped and is a half mile walk or bike ride from the beach. The property doesn’t have beach towels so you’ll need to bring your own. There are lots of bike paths in the island and we highly recommend renting bikes.

Family Gathering at Kiawah
The house is absolutely beautiful and just a short bike ride to the beach (also biked to Sanctuary, Tennis Club & Night Heron Park). We enjoyed watching the alligators in the pond behind the house and appreciated the safety gate so the little ones didn’t attempt to get out there w/Jackie and her babies😁 We had everything we needed and the managing company was a dream to work with. Thank you so much!

Beautiful House - Perfect for Large Family
We stayed here with our 5 adult children, 1 son in law and 1 daughter in law. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms - the kitchen was well stocked, 2 great "family" room areas to gather. We enjoyed looking out for Jackie the alligator and her babies in the backyard pond. Very enjoyable quick ride to the beach on our bikes. Excellent location for all that you want to do at Kiawah. Easy bike ride down to The Sanctuary for meals or ice cream! :) Can't say enough about how wonderful our vacation was at this property.

Nice house
Great location for easy beach access. Comfortable beds, nice living space, upscale neighborhood. The only thing we didn’t love was the proximity of the alligators/pond to the back deck. We couldn’t sit outside with the small kids for fear of the alligators. I know they are wild animals and that Kiawah has many, but the setup of the back of the house next to the pond was just something to note if you have small children.

John’s Island 2022
The property is beautiful. My family and I loved it! The only thing was that the floors and area rugs were dusty and there were remnants of animal hair. The charger for the Dyson vacuum in the closet was not working, so I had to sweep the entire downstairs. Otherwise, this property has an excellent location with an accessible path to the beach. A 10 minute walk. I would stay there again, but please clean the floors and rugs.

Kitchen extremely well stocked (utensils, cookware, etc) -- we're big cooks -- we were missing nothing. I personally prefer wash cloth to sponges in the kitchen but my kids claim that's a generational thing (LOL). One of several decorative wall hangings (male heads) fell off the wall when no one was near it, damaging the woodwork -- you should probably check the stability of the remaining wall hangings. I'll notify the ESPM contact.

A Kiawah Week
The home is perfectly set up for our family. We put 3 siblings in the bunk beds and they were thrilled. The home is also wonderfully furnished for a beach vacation. Everyone loved the 5 baby alligators and the mother, from a distance of course. Built in deck entertainment. We just wish we had easy access to the Kiawah pools for the children,

Great family reunion
Fantastic property - clean, extremely comfortable and well-appointed, perfect for families of all ages. Excellent location - a quick walk or bike ride to the beach. Enjoyed watching all the wildlife in the pond off the back deck. You won't regret booking this place.

Fabulous home, well appointed, clean, bright, cozy and comfortable.
I would share that this is a great place for families that like to share a space, cook nice dinners, hang together, and enjoy a wonderful island. Home is bright and beautifully decorated.
