Perfect location & accommodations!
We stayed here for 4 nights while we celebrated our wedding in Key West! This property is our new favorite and we will be staying again. We were in the Scarlet Room and it was amazing. A ton of space, perfectly clean, and location is one block off duval but pretty quiet street! We had several girls getting ready here for the morning of wedding and it was just perfect! The property was always kept in pristine condition and the pool was a great addition.

What a great place!!
This property was really nice! The location was perfect for us, and we walked everywhere (for reference we are a couple in our 50’s) and didn’t need a car or golf cart at all. The building was beautiful and historic, perfectly remodeled, and tastefully decorated. Suite was huge and very well appointed .

Mid-May ‘24 Scarlet Mango Inn stay
We had learned while there that the Inn was renovated only a year prior! Don’t remember seeing that marketing point online. It showed. Well appointed, very clean, well attended too, and our inside suite decor was beautifully done AND COMFORTABLE! We slept very well in the bed. We stayed in the Scarlet room. Terrific living space, attached public shared front balcony, and a private balcony off the master bedroom. The setting was tranquil & serene. Huge trees envelope the property, but you’re in the thick of the scene! Intersection of Southard Street & Simonton Street, one block from Duvall Street! It’s on the northern end of town, so it is a long walk to the Southernmost point. It was feel-like temps of 115 when we were there, so too long to walk. Lots of other transportation options. Only letdown was the parking situation! They do have 2 street spots available in front of the Inn, but good luck getting one of them! Lots of circling around waiting for a spot to open somewhere nearby.

Such a fabulous place to stay
This was a last minute get away for our Anniversary. Boy did we chose the perfect place! What a nice warm, cozy, clean, top notch place to stay. We had everything we needed, bed was very comfortable, plenty of soaps, towels, coffee and some snacks. We didn't have time to enjoy the pool but plan to next visit. When we come back to Key West, this is the only place we plan on booking. Thank you!

This is the second time I have stayed at property, It is always clean and well kept. This time we stayed in the Scarlett room. Room very spacious and up to dat The only complaint I have is that that room is on the corner and you can hear everything coming from streets, scooters, motorcycles, and vehicle that passes by. then nearby construction starting at 7:30am. Now I know it’s not the resorts fault but would have liked to sleep through night.

Just amazing!
I’m so glad we found the Scarlet Mango Inn. The room was wonderful, with a sitting room and two balconies. The pool area was incredible. The time spent at the pool was a highlight because it was a little oasis. Most of all, the location was perfect right near Duval Street and centrally located between both ends. They’ve done an amazing job with the inn and we can’t wait to return.

Attractive grounds, spacious suite
We had a nice stay. Our suite was very spacious, with both a shared and private balcony. Nice shades on the windows that kept it dark at night. Very little room noise from the other guests. We brought a white noise machine based on other reviews, though and would highly recommend same for anyone, as the street noise is very loud. Comfortable bed and a great shower with a rainwater shower head. Lots of deep dresser and nightstand drawers. Just a few reasons we didn’t rate 5 stars: Snacks were provided, which was nice, but almost all of them were expired (the popcorn expired 2 months ago, for instance). The coffee tasted very old as well, though we didn’t see a date on it. The drinking glasses were all covered in dust, so we had to wash them before using them. The room was hot and musty on arrival (but cooled down nicely after a few hours, which also got rid of the musty smell). We had to search for the info sheet with the Wi-Fi code because for some reason it was in a drawer instead of with the info booklet. (However, once we were able to connect, the Wi-Fi was strong and stable). Without these small issues, this would have been a 5 star experience, and we would return.

My wife and I enjoyed this place in key west. We walked everywhere. The room was very very nice and clean. Melanie went out of her way to do a early check in since our flight was a early one. The pool was relaxing and fantastic. We would definitely stay here again!!!

The picutres and videos dont do the property justice. My only complaint was being there during a hest wave. It was over 100 pur ebtire visit but the very cool AC helped.

We definitely will be staying in the future. Room is exactly how it looks in pictures, we stayed in Scarlet. One block from Duval, noise was not bad at all. Morning roosters which you will find anywhere in key west. Did not feel like we were sharing a house at all, felt like we had our own little house, very quiet. Water pressure is great, AC very cold. Very very clean, excellent accommodations.

We stayed at The Scarlet Mango Inn in the Scarlet suite. It was beautiful. Loved having the living room with front balcony access and the bedroom with a side balcony for morning coffee. The room was equipped with a refrigerator and Keurig, coffee, cream and sugar. The location so close to Duval St made for quick access to all the action. My only con was that there was no full length mirror. Overall we give it an A+.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Scarlet Inn in Key West, and I must say it was a truly remarkable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the quiet, serene, and beautiful ambiance of the inn. The grounds were adorned with tropical foliage, creating a lush and inviting atmosphere. Our room at the inn was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. It was evident that great care had been taken to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. What made our stay even more memorable was the exceptional customer service we received. The innkeeper went above and beyond to make our anniversary special, coordinating a surprise gift of champagne and strawberries from our friends. It was a thoughtful gesture that added a touch of romance to our stay. The location of the Scarlet Inn was perfect for us. We were able to explore Key West on foot, as the inn was conveniently situated within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Our room, the Scarlet room, featured a small private balcony where we would start our mornings with a cup of coffee, enjoying the tropical breeze and taking in the charm of the inn's surroundings. I wholeheartedly recommend the Scarlet Inn to anyone seeking a memorable and delightful stay in Key West. We will return soon.

This property is a great place to stay to be close enough to Duval St to walk to the restaurants and bars but also is in a more quieter area to relax in the pool (which was perfect with it being so hot). Hosts are very responsive and property very clean and exactly as advertised, highly recommend!

Truly the best vacation rental experience I ever had. The unit was spotless. I would choose to stay here to any 5 star hotel property on the island. Welcome champagne and even a snack was an awesome touch. The location is prime, it’s adults only. It’s a shared building but on the rare occasion you interact with other guests everyone was friendly. I didn’t hear any of the other units. The pool and grounds were immaculate. The unit has a great balcony since it’s the 2nd floor. Ice machine in the lobby… great planning. In true Key West fashion the street gets loud when the bars close, but as other reviewers said this should be expected and adds to the energy. Bring ear plugs if it bothers you. I hope to be back to this property. I was so impressed. Thank you for a perfect stay.
