The room was not very clean. There were boards missing on the floor. If there wasn't a dirty rug on the floor, we would have fallen to the room below. There was minimal space for anything in the bathroom. There was no fire escape. If a fire broke out, unless you got down the stairs, you would die jumping from the balcony. The room could use a table or two to put things on. The TV was worthless as you would need to break your neck to look at it. The only thing positive about it is the location. I would never stay there again.

Really enjoyed the stay, but the property is aging and we had a couple electrical hiccups while there. I think the central location is great, and it truly is a gem of a house. We encountered no staff while here -- pretty much code access. Maintenance was prompt when contacted, and so was customer service by phone when needed.

Building is run down, rotten planks on rear deck, filthy railing on front step, needs paint. The room was substandard. The rug was filthy and the room itself could use a deep cleaning. It was cold when we arrived and the AC/heating unit blew such stale and offensive air we couldn't use it. The staff gave us an extra blanket and heating unit. I'm sure the place had a glorious past but those times are gone by. It's apparent that profit rules supreme.
