Very nice hotel, nice and polite owner and staff, quiet location but town walkable distance, breakfast was very good and relaxed house with lounge and fridge, all clean too, enjoyed our stay. Car park was abit tricky too park was only small negative but i do have a large car which doesnt help but apart from this everything else was a very good stay and would return

Very nice quiet room. Breakfast was outstanding. Short walk to downtown which was great since staying in a hotel downtown would have been noisy. Highly recommend.

Convenient for town centre and well placed for traveling to other walking or tourist destinations. Being able to use the gym and swimming facilities at Undercliff is a bonus.

Decent stay
Second stay at The Grange. Stayed for 4 nights in September and the same room as the previous visit. The property is well maintained throughout although due to it being an old property we did experience a slight issue with waste water coming up through the shower waste. Nothing a few attempts at flushing the toilet didn’t sort out. Breakfast is adequate although portion size and choice is limited. For a property of this type there could be more breakfast options. Parking is a bonus as this can be an issue is Keswick with most properties offering on street. It’s a fair walk to the town centre and the hill back maybe be too much for some. Would stay again

Our first visit to The Grange greeted by owner made to feel very welcome, immaculately kept property comfortable with some lovely homely touches . Breakfast was faultless I follow a Plant Based diet and their Vegan Breakfast was delicious. My husband’s Cumbrian Breakfast was very much to his liking and so were the cakes in the lounge with the Espresso machine. A 10 minute walk into Keswick so car was left on the parking area great to start our walks around the area. We chose 2 of the owners recommended restaurants for Dinner and we weren’t disappointed. We look forwards to staying there again .

Lovely B&B Building full of character Decor a bit mismatched- modern and old fashioned Breakfast was okay, sausage a little herby for my liking- asked on day 1 for preference of tea or coffee and white or brown toast, not given an option on subsequent days Quite a big hill to get to the property from Keswick town centre if walking Lovely views from the property

Just got back from a few night's away in Keswick. We stayed at The Grange B&B which was perfect. The staff were top class and couldn't do enough for you. They were ever so polite and helpful. Nothing was too much bother. We will definitely be going back to stay there again.

**5-Star Review: A Perfect Retreat in Keswick** We recently stayed at the Grange Country House in Keswick, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff were warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. To our pleasant surprise, we were even upgraded to a stunning room, which was beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable—truly the best we've experienced. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with a fantastic selection of fresh, delicious options that set us up perfectly for the day. The location of the Grange is another major plus—nestled in a peaceful spot, yet just a short walk from the heart of Keswick, making it the ideal base for exploring the Lake District. One of our favorite moments was spending the evenings on the veranda with a bottle of wine, enjoying the serene surroundings. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The atmosphere at the Grange Country House is simply unbeatable—calm, relaxing, and with a touch of luxury that makes you feel truly pampered. Overall, our stay at the Grange Country House was exceptional, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We’ll definitely be returning!
