Beautiful location cottage lacking in comfort and character
What a beautiful location and cottage we had a fantastic time! The house was well equipped and clean. It is however lacking in any comfort or character. Pictures slightly misleading and beds and sofa have seen better days, no comfy spot to relax after a day outdoors. Management was very poor no contact made at all regarding check in or replies to my emails about check out. Last minute frantic attempts to get key code details on arrival. Would recommend just needs a wee spruce.

Needs more attention
I hate leaving bad reviews, so to start, the location is great, wonderful views of the mountains. The space is good, plenty of room to move around with others there. However, we arrived in the dark so didn’t get a fair reflection of everything till the morning. We were in the smaller of the bedrooms. The bedding hadn’t been changed there were stains on the sheets that looked like blackcurrant juice. I have photos. After this discover more things became noticeable. Everywhere just wasn’t clean. The bathroom especially, the grout was all discoloured when made it feel horrible. All the cutlery, plates glasses etc were dirty and needed to be cleaned prior to using. This could be down to the dishwasher being useless though. Stuff came out dirtier than when it went in. There was one toilet roll for four adults for three nights? A small issue but one you don’t expect to come across. All in all, not very impressed Would not stay again but it has potential with a good clean.
