Welcome to the modern cabin in the woods. #TheAveryHouse is located right outside of Kerrville and only about 20 minutes from Fredericksburg wineries. Get to the Guadalupe river in under 10 minutes. Camping, water sports, hiking, fishing, food and wine are all within a short drive from this 600 sq ft modern tiny home. Come unplug with the sounds of nature and room to stretch out on an oversized deck. Enjoy some quality time around the camp fire, and connect with those you love in this unique retreat.

Connect with friends and family around the solo stove fire pit under the magical ambiance of the warm glow string lights and the Texas starry nights. Enjoy the abundant wild life including birds of all kinds, axis and white tail deer, maybe even see an armadillo or two. Or, stay inside and cook a meal utilizing the well equipped kitchen. Sit in the upstairs loft desk and write the next best selling novel or devour that book you've been wanting to read. Or, you can just snuggle up on the sofa and watch your favorite movie. All 600 square feet of this tiny home are designed for you to unwind and enjoy the things you love most.

With a large stock of cleaning supplies and everyday essential items, the Avery House is always cleaned top to bottom and ever so thoroughly between each and every checkin and checkout with your safety/health top of mind.

Wonderful place to stay in Hill Country!
This is a fantastic property! Clean, comfortable, and peaceful! Our family of four had a great trip to the hill country, taking in different experiences and coming back to relax at the centrally located Avery House each day. The Avery House
We went to Kerrville with the purpose of going to the empty cross. We lost our dad on December 29th and did a road trip for my mother. We went to James Avery on the grounds, saw beautiful birds, deer, had an amazing time around the fire. The house was exactly what we needed for the night. The location was perfect and the home was beautiful. We will be back during the summer time and stay here again.

We arrived at the Avery House to escape the every day hustle of living the city life. It was the perfect cozy space with comfy beds and quiet atmosphere. My friend and I came to Kerrville to have a birthday celebration. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was as expected. The beds were clean and very comfortable, which is so nice. We were greeted by 3 deer when we arrived, just munching some grass. It is close to town, but also has a remote feel. Would stay there again!

After working outside all day in the Texas heat, we arrived at the house where cold water, cold AC and snacks were waiting for us. The house was exactly as pictured. Super cute and very clean. The bath towels were large and luxurious. The beds were so comfy that we all slept in both mornings. We loved watching the deer from the big picture windows. We saw many fawns, doe, and bucks in felt. We enjoyed several meals on the outside deck. I definitely recommend this beautiful home for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle. We would most definitely stay here again.

We stayed here overnight as part of a longer road trip. The house was essy to find and the area around the house was amazing! The only issue we had was not receiving the code to check in.
