Pros: Ebookers site
Cons: Needs full overhaul - mixed decor in bar, reception and resturant areas. Not in keeping with building.
Tired and rooms in need of refurbishment. Bathroom terrible, black mould around bath seal. Toilet seat missing brackets, bath outer cover old,tired and damaged. Thick dust along skirting boards by bed. Walls poor finish and filled holes everywhere. Heating on full in all areas very stuffy. Unable to open room window as painted closed. Breakfast- self service and all hot food of poor quality- scrambled egg ? Was powdered, as all white in colour no yolk evident! Poor for charge of £13.95 per head.

Room for improvement

Pros: Room spacious. Bedding clean and bed very comfortable. Nice hot shower.
Cons: Hotel could do with a good clean. Room cleanliness should be inspected regularly by management. Staff training needed.
Cold water tap ran warm no matter how long we ran it for. Hotel and room were dirty in parts - hair grip on the floor. No children's meal on offer in the restaurant. Hotel staff sparse and unprofessional and service slow. Wi-Fi patchy.

Not a four star hotel.

We booked this hotel as it was advertised as a 4 star. The details advertised looked great. On arrival the hotel did not have our reservation. We were given a twin room after a twenty minute wait ,later they pushed beds together as we wanted double.the room was ok but not 4 star standard. The first night loud party music kept us awake until gone 24.00 and 5am woken by people next door. Second night quieter. Breakfast was ok. We complained to management and a report was written. A few days later we had a full refund for the two nights. The hotel needs a lot of work to reach four star standard and some staff need training in hospitality. Please Internet sites adjust your star rating on this hotel,should be no more than three star.
