Welcome to Rossill Bridge Farmhouse, a stunning 17th century farmhouse tastefully modernised to a high standard.

Ideal for families and groups of friends.

Set in a tranquil riverside position, surrounded by sweeping countryside on the border of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks.

Five miles from Kendal with its independent shops, cafes, supermarkets and amenities.

Your co-host Kirsty can recommend local walks, fantastic swim spots and a host of other activities.

The open-plan ground floor creates a wonderful living space with lounge, kitchen and dining areas connected. Character features, such as the original fireplace with log burner tastefully blend with the contemporary decor in this light, spacious and comfortable room.

The thoughtfully designed kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to create wonderful dining experiences. The eight seater dining table is well positioned between kitchen and lounge.

Additionally, downstairs is home to a large WC with a shower. Front and back doors have ample space for outdoor gear. The utility room with washing machine and separate dryer is well positioned near the back door.

Upstairs, the blend of character and tasteful comfort continues into three similarly sized double bedrooms, and a twin room with bunk beds (suitable for up to 14 years old), all with storage space. There is a second large WC with an inviting bath and view of the garden.

Outside there are two gardens which take advantage of the spectacular views. The walled front garden has a large flat lawn with outdoor bench seating and two apple trees, ideal for safe play or games with young children and activities such as yoga. The back has a lovely sloping orchard with old damson trees and over the road is a grassed area to relax by the river. There is a wheeled barbecue. The log store [logs are provided], bins and recycling are conveniently located at the back door.

There is parking for three vehicles at the side of the cottage with a fourth at the front.

The cottage has superfast B4RN broadband, a large smart TV and numerous books and games.
