Our stay was great. Our rooms were by the elevator and we barely heard it. The rooms were very quiet. The location is fantastic. We had just a few small issues. We had two rooms and one of the doors was very hard to open. The shower head did not have much water pressure. But the worst was the bed. If you like a very hard bed you will love it.

Great location, great room.
Great location near South Plaza. An older hotel that has been nicely updated. Our room was spacious, and the bed very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The former grand dame of the Marriott properties just north of the Plaza has certainty seen better days, but its still a great location...just needs someone who cares about upkeep. Trash (i know...it's hard to avoid), broken glass around and the grounds need a dedicated gardner. It has great potential but it is obvious Marriott management perfers to put renovation on a back burner.

Poor experience
This hotel was old and not kept up. They charged per day for parking, which should not be necessary away from downtown. Its location is close to a rough part of town. Rooms smelled and the toilet ran all the time. Would never stay here again.

Unique property. Definitely not a "cookie cutter" property. Built in 1923. Beautiful wood built-ins. Large rooms. Very clean and well maintained. Walking distance to great restaurants and shopping on "The Plaza".
