We have stayed in La Quintas before and I was disappointed that although this one was “ pet Friendly “ there was a hidden fee for pets, carpeting in the room with a strong scent that I imagine they apply to the carpet since it’s allowing pets. The good thing was there was a nice large dirt area across the street to walk the dogs. Also person who checked me in did not mention the pet fee when I told her we had pets.

Room 216 was very dirty, big visible spots on the couch and somebody's booger was on the duvet cover, I have taken photos but it doesn't look like photos can be uploaded. Bathroom had hairs on the floor and on the counter. Interior is visible aged, walls dirty, hotel is in need of a renovation. I was shocked this hotel was rated so highly! Felt scammed by the high rating, not sure where the disconnect is or maybe I got unlucky with the room. Staff was nice. Breakfast was fine, though they were out of milk...

Our room was immaculate and the staff was awesome. The whole stay was wonderful. The only recommendation I would make would be that the hotel should change the breakfast menu every day or so. They served sausage and eggs everyday we were there for 9 days.

Would stay again!
Hotel is central to three national parks so worked well for us. Hotel was brilliant although the ice machine rattling out ice from 5:50 to various occupants was a bit of a rude awakening. Good brekkie and swimming pool and hot tub👍
