The hotel is pretty old but was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and the onsen was nice. Was really wowed by the quality of the meals that were served (dinner, breakfast) since the dining area looks pretty utilitarian.
For the second time, we came to this place, for a whole week. Ideally situated if you want to ski tour, it is a quiet place with great food, and very nice onsen.
Rooms are clean but a bit small when you come with all your ski gear (we were 4 adults in one room). There is also a large room in the basement to store skis, dry boots, skis, jackets...
Every evening, we got a really good dinner (many courses).
All together, this makes this place ideal!
