This is a budget hotel so rating based on same. The rooms clean but strong smell of old cigarette smoke permanating throughout the place. Not allowed to smoke in rooms but guests smoke outside their doors and it creeps into your room. It's pet friendly so if air is off or low you can smell urine and dog in general. My hair and skin smelled like cigarette smoke after I left. People need to be honest in their reviews. There appears to be a clientele of smokers vapors and weed smokers etc who stay here. .
No internet during the evening and night, called front desk 3 times, no answer. Room had broken toilet lid, tissue holder in bathroom was found behind door/ Would not return to stay here again
I booked a superior king bed room for two nights. When I got there to check in around 6:00, I was informed that there would not be a superior room available at night. The cleaning staff was shorthanded. So I accepted a regular room. The next morning, I left for the day and returned around 7:00. I happened to stop into the office to discuss what the rates were going to be since I didn’t get a superior room. While I was waiting a lady came in to complain that her room wasn’t cleaned and somebody’s stuff was in there. When she told the manager her room number, I commented that was my room number. The manager said no I was in another room. Someone had reassigned me to another room without telling me. The three of us settled on me keeping the room I was in. I mentioned that I expected an adjustment for paying for a superior room and not getting it. The next morning I checked out and looked at my bill. No adjustment. It still showed a superior room for one night and a regular room for one night. The total charges just happened to be exactly what I prepaid for two nights in a superior room. I confirmed that there is a price difference between the rooms. I did not stay in a superior room either night. I have not seen an adjustment or credit yet. It may be small, but I don’t like paying for one thing and getting another.
It took 3 different tries to get a room that didn't smell of smoke even though all rooms were non smoking. I will never stay at a Red Roof Inn again nor any other place with outside entrance's. People were smoking everywhere and everything and getting pulled in by the air conditioning.
Old and out of date. Staff was lounging around the office and some were very unkempt, even gross. First room they gave me was heavily smoked and the water in the sink and bathtub came out VERY rusty. Next room just ok. TV controls very slow/cumbersom.
Did not stay and are still billing me anyway, while it was my fault that I had left my ID at home on my desk. They had to have a physical copy and no workaround for me and my cat was allowed. I had to get a last-minute over at Baymont to accommodate my issue of no play to stay after driving more than 5 hours for my personal pto plans. Will be seeing what the bank can do.

Ugh
The only thing that bothered me was no remote control for TV band tv wouldn't turn on plus I was talking quietly to a couple of my friends in the parking lot and staff come out and told us to leave even tho I had a room and called the police
The staff at the red roof on the west side location was nothing but amazing!!!! I appreciate their value of taking care of the people in which they are providing a service too.
They told us after we made reservation, they had no rooms. then came to our car door telling us they did have a room. After already canceling our room in the first place. They gave us a room that a hole in curtain and safety latch was broken. I think that was needed because nefarious folk were roaming around.
