The service was excellent. The beds were old and uncomfortable, light in the bathroom was flickering like a strobe light and when I asked for it to be fixed they said the next day. The light was never fixed.

They refused to honor my hotels.com reservation
When I arrived, with my reservation from Hotels.com, they had me in the system, but with no dates attached, and refused to honor the reservation. The clerk was not empowered to do anything about it, and told me it was my fault for using hotels.com. The clerk was truly unhelpful. I walked away and booked another hotel for the same night.

This will be the place I stay whenever I visit Kalamazoo. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The extended swimming pool hours of 6 AM to 11 PM. made it very convenient to get to swim with my busy schedule. The complimentary breakfast has something for all diet needs serving hot and cold options. Loved that they offer complimentary water bottles.
