The building was nice and kept clean but the neighborhood was scary and dangerous.I didn't feel safe leaving my room or the facility.Didn't feel safe going out in the parking lot when leaving in the morning.

We traveled to Kalamazoo to see Buddy Guy on his final tour at the State Theater. The hotel was very close to the venue and so many restaurants. We went to Hopcat. Initially after reading such terrible revues on this Comfort Inn we were very worried about our stay. We were so pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it ended up being. It smelled clean upon entering because it was clean. Staff was very pleasant . Fridge worked. Microwave worked. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was the same as any Comfort Inn, enough to do the job and break your fast.There was limited parking on the premises but we always found a spot and there was legal parking on the street in case. Pillows and beds were very comfortable.

The place is a dump - avoid!
The place is in terrible condition - run down, shoddy, you get overdosed with chemicals trying to mask old, stale cigarette smells. The only thing it has going for it is location. Don’t recommend to anyone.

Staff was very accommodating. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable….slept well. Shower was good. Bath towels are past their prime and should be replaced. Wash cloths and hand towels are good. Breakfast was ok. Small/medium parking area. Outside grounds needs a little TLC….daily garbage clean up and weed trimming.
