Charming Hale Mokolea in Lanikai –2BR, 2BA, Full Kitchen

Nestled in the beachside community of Lanikai, Kailua, this fully furnished home is over 1400 square feet of luxury living. Beautifully yet simply decorated, this unit is the whole upper half of the main house. The entrance is at mid-floor level with a Brazilian cherry staircase leading to upper and lower levels. The caretaker lives in the lower level.

Your home away from home has a large living area that divides into two sections: one with a comfy couch for watching television; the other, hidden behind carved panels from Borneo, for reading or computer work.

Down the hall is one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and an adjoining bathroom.
Across the hall is a blue bedroom that has two twin beds and its own separate bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Stay cool with one portable AC unit and ceiling fans in each room.

The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of dishes and glasses as well as pots and pans. Just a few steps away is a laundry room with a stacked washer and dryer as well as a sink for pre-soaking clothes and substantial storage.

Outside is a small garden area with teak table and chairs for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or a dinner hot from the barbecue. Landscaped with tropical plants as well as a very large monkey pod tree that spans two properties, the garden is home to numerous songbirds (manu mele), providing you with morning serenades!

We are approximately a five to seven minute walk to the world famous Lanikai Beach, undoubtedly, the best swimming beach in all of Hawai'i. The town of Kailua is only a seven minute drive. It has plenty of shopping including the Whole Foods Store and some great restaurants. Even closer is the Kailua Beach Center that has kayaks and other ocean toys for rent.

Lanakai house
The space was beautiful and relaxing. It is short walk to beach. I enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood is and that you can see the ocean from the entryway. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing month in the country’s most beautiful beach town
