The Whaler was amazing. It had everything we needed. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Right on a gorgeous clean beach. The property was well maintained and customer service was top notch. Next time we are in Maui this will be our go to place. Room 116 was perfect!

Great location, this particular property is lacking in the pool and restaurant bar amenities. However, many nearby options for food and drinks within a short walk. Black rock is also with public beach access and great snorkeling!

Our room was very nice and updated. One negative would be the shower desperately needs grab bars or at least a non slip bath mat. Very difficult to get in and out of tall bathtub. It’s a little noisy near the Whaler shopping area, but not enough to rate lower than a 5*.

The property was amazing with beautiful views of the ocean. The walking path along the beach was great. The only complaint would be that we had to call maintenance to fix the tv and the oven. Saved a ton of money being able to fix our own food.
