Cozy Country Cottage
I came here alone for solitude & connection to nature, and got that here in this quiet neighborhood. Perfect central location to all the local hiking trails and easy quick drive to either Julian or Wiynola restaurants & shops. Bed/pillows very comfortable and great shower/tiwels.

Great stay in Julian
We loved the cottage we stayed in. It was well equipped, and they had some treats there for us as well. Very nice touch. We plan on returning sometime in the future. I recommend a stay at this place, it’s well located to venture out during the day and come back and spend a quiet, very quiet, evening.

Quiet comfortable cottage in the mountains
We did a last minute booking for this cottage (day before) in Julian, CA. It is very clean, quaint, & cozy. It had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was stocked with breakfast foods and snacks. There were movies to watch, a backyard grill, bathroom with any toiletries you may need, big comfortable bed. It was located just a short ride from main street Julian as well as San Ysabel. Close by to all hiking too. We enjoyed waking up to see the chickens, ducks and little pigs. Views outside the windows were picturesque also. The hostess Angela communicated well and provided all the information we needed up front. We really enjoyed out stay here.

VBRO never sent us the code
we didn’t stay here because we couldn’t get in, which is VBROS fault, not the owner! We had to drive all the way home again. There has to be a better way to do this! someone to call when something goes wrong like this! We never received the code

Stay in Julian
We had an amazing stay at Wild Rose Cottage at Full Moon Farm! The place was immaculate with so many special touches that made us feel truly cared for. We enjoyed the fresh eggs and baked goods in the fridge for breakfast each morning! We loved sitting on the back patio sipping morning coffee and watching the horses exercise nearby. It was such a peaceful and restful experience. The host was very attentive! We will be back!

Wow! Charming and Serene!
What a lovely place! We had a fantastic time checking out Julian. Calico Cidery was also fun—had a great chat with the orchard owner there. Best was star gazing at Inspiration Point—a must see during the day and on a clear night. Angela and Thomas were wonderful hosts. The cottage was neat as a pin and we so appreciated the wedding anniversary welcome—the sugar cookies were some of the best we’ve ever had! And the eggs delicious. We loved listening to the hens and watching Mr. Turkey show off for us. Thank you so much for the lovely time. Everything was exactly what we needed. Thank you! I hope we can visit again sometime.

Anniversary Get Away
The cottage was just as described. Definitely cozy for two. It’s all basically one large room with small kitchen and living room area. The host left is goodies and breakfast food including farm fresh eggs. She communicated very easily with us with anything we needed. It’s very close to the town of Julian. The farm animals were fun to watch. Although it’s on the same property and close to the main home, it still felt very private. Great place and worth the stay if planning to be in Julian and it’s surroundings.

Quaint cottage near Julian
The property was just as pictured. The cottage is on a farm with chickens, horses and farms surrounding it. Fresh eggs were provided by our host Angela as well as lots of snack foods and breakfast fixings. The cottage is only a little over a mile from Julian, a wonderful small town with the best apple pie ever. I was able to order a pie that was gluten free and dairy free, a huge plus for someone with food allergies like mine. Hiking was close by at William Heist Park and Volcano Mountain. Angela was fabulous! She was always responsive to any and all questions and provided some great tips on shopping, restaurant and sites in Julian. She truly deserves 5 stars as a host! We will definitely stay at Blue Moon Cottage again when in the area.

So Grateful For This Stay
My husband and I booked a cottage at Full Moon Farm to get away from the city and celebrate our 20th Anniversary. We are so grateful we were able to stay at Full Moon. Everything was beyond my expectations. Here's a little list: The communication with Dana, the host, was clear, timely, professional and friendly. She was super responsive to us via VRBO and text messages. Upon arrival, we entered our cottage and were immediately just blown away by the spaciousness and country romantic amenities. Not County Western, not Country Hokey, it is true Country Victorian charm. Dana left a thoughtful note and a bottle wine congratulating us on our Anniversary and welcoming us to the farm. The bed was HUGE and had ample pillows and comfortable bedding. The mattress was on the firm side and we slept deep and long each night we were there. There is plenty of storage for clothing in a massive armoire, and the AC and oscillating floor fan kept us comfortable on 80+ degree nights. There is a lovely little patio with table, chairs and a gas grill. The attached yard was an AMAZING spot to star gaze. We put the chairs in the yard and watched shooting stars for hours. The kitchen area is small but has everything -large fridge stocked with fresh eggs from the farm, fruit, bagels and muffins, water and juices. Condiments galore. The cabinets reflected the same-coffee, spices, dinnerware and full pots and pans. Gas stove with 4 burners, toaster, microwave, etc. All VERY clean. The bathroom is HUGE with a soaking tub and large shower, clean and fluffy towels, qtips, shampoo, moisturizer, you name it, it's there. The open space also contained a living room area with books, DVDs, and games and a TV. The outdoors-the animals, the property, and Dana's willingness to teach us all about her surrounding made the trip. There are chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats, horses, cats and dogs! VERY well cared for, VERY clean and happy animals. It was such a pleasure watching the animals live their lives and get to know their personalities. Big kudos to Dana for making things very interesting and fun. We will FOR SURE be back. I haven't been so relaxed in years. There is not enough space here to say all I want to say-so go yourself and you'll be grateful you did!
