I could tell it used to be a nice hotel but they have really neglected the upkeep. I needed an extra night added to my original reservation and they had me switch to three different rooms before we found one that was acceptable.

We found a different looking motel than was pictured in the ad. Not enough staff to work front desk. Breakfast was limited/waffles closed/ several things were out of order. To find Ice was a problem/machine out of order. Curains in room were torn/frayed and would not close. Opened refrigerator and it fell out onto the floor. TV would not work well. Key would not work in door/tried over and over. Had to cut a new key/it would not work. Sorry. Bad Experience.

Quality this was not. The room smells as if someone just sprayed Febreeze to cover some odors. The bathroom needed bleached, and could have used fresh rolls of toilet paper. The shower never really got hot, and one of the towels had stains on it. The AC whined so loudly that I turned it off so I could sleep. The carpet trim was peeling in several places. The breakfast was lame: coffee ran out, no juices, no hot water for tea. At least it was relatively quiet, so I slept well.

There were black pieces on bed? Sheets where ruff. There was only one wash cloth in the bathroom. Tile in bathroom was in need of replacement. Rust around the toilet. I know wasn’t that expensive but it was really an old out of date hotel.The decor was really bad!

The check-in process was OK, but the person who checked us in was rather raggedy and not very personable. The room was pretty run down and had a musty odor. The rug was dirty and had a dead bug in the middle of the floor. The mattress was too bouncy and had a broken spring poking through the surface. Fortunately, my wife found the broken spring before she laid down on it or it could have torn her nightgown, or even worse, her skin. The room was too bad for us to stay in so we moved to another hotel after the first night. The hotel management refused to give us a refund for the remaining two nights. We will NEVER stay there again!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. However their breakfast bar was lacking the hot water for tea was cold there was no coffee and no orange juice. The toaster would not toast a bagel on its highest setting and resatred 3 times it came out cold. Nice property clean and neat staff friendly but breakfast underwhelming

This was the 2nd time I've stayed here. Again booked with hotels.com when I checked in, the room i reserved was not available. Not only that, the room I reserved was an accessible room. I was upgraded to a double Queen room. This is interesting because there were only about 15 vehicles in tne parking lot

Everything was great, except that someone had removed the cable box from the TV and just hooked up the cable directly to the TV, so there was no way to change the channel, stuck on a Spanish speaking channel. After trying several remote controls and showing the manager the HDMI cable not attached to anything, he gave me the cable box from his room to use. You need to go back to the previous person who had the room and ask them what they did with the cable box or why they STOLE it.

No biscuits , eggs, bacon , orange juice or milk at 8:30 . And waffle iron had burnt waffle stuck in it and the worker said to close it and it will dry out . 15 minutes later she still had not cleaned it ! But did bring out some bacon .

The room had a weird humid smell. Like musty and damp. Probably a leaky pipe somewhere. The drain around the shower looked very gross, and the carpet had stains. The front desk staff were weird also. Neither of the people I interacted with had uniforms or name tags, and had me questioning (silently) if they even worked there when they couldn't find my booking. There was a sign posted on the counter that said "At lunch, 15 mins," but that sign stayed up through the duration of my stay, even through the morning. I hope the real staff wasn't locked up in the boiler room. Honestly it was the prefect preface to a horror movie.

The Quality Inn near Carthage was excellent, the room was clean, bathroom excellent, and the parking lot was well maintained and lighted. Only issue was breakfast, there wasn’t any coffee, the juice dispenser only gave out water, and at one point the eggs and sausage were completely out. I did have a great waffle though.
