Airstream in Vermont
Unfortunately the area was flooded days before we were to arrive. VRBO never informed us that our reservation was canceled. We traveled 2.5 hours and found it flooded. Traveled 2.5 hours back home to find out that it had been canceled. This was no fault of the property owner but total non communication from Vrbo. If told sooner maybe we would have been able to make another arrangements to be with our family. Totally missed time with them and very disappointed.

Everything is just perfect For motocycle travelers if you don’t have a adventure bike you won’t be able to go down to the airstream or you leave your bike at entrance of property.

Once in a thousand year flooding
A complete and total washout. When I arrived there was a light rain falling. I unloaded all my gear and put everything away in the RV. Took about 2 hours. I made dinner for me and my dogs. Afterwards I cleaned up the dishes then went outside to check the weather conditions. It was now a steady downpour. I Went back inside and crawled into bed and dozed off to sleep. Around 6:30 next morning I could tell I was still raining out. I went outside to check and saw what had been a calm meandering River was now a raging rapid over spilling its banks. The fire pit area was under water. I realized I had maybe an hour or two to gather all my belongings and vacate the RV before the River claimed it. I believe if I had slept another couple hours that RV would have been swept away with me and my dogs in it. I saw Tyler go by in a truck and got his attention. When he saw how high the River had gotten he knew he had to haul that RV to higher ground right quick or it would be washed away. He said when the storm ended the next day he would put it back. I told him the NWS was predicting heavy rains through the week. I also told him I did not feel safe being there under those conditions and felt I should leave while I still could. By that afternoon the state of Vermont declared the entire area a disaster emergency zone and warned people to remain inside as rivers had crested, roads had crumbled, and there was heavy flooding throughout the state. It would have been dangerous for me to stay.

Airstream dream!
The airstream was perfect! Had everything you need. Clean and cute! Nestled in along the river with a fire pit and picnic tables you didn’t need to go anywhere either! But you could and should walk down to dog head falls, check out the water access, and the hot tub! The property was clean, and easy to find! Would recommend 10/10!

Idyllic Airstream Stay
Great little airstream, everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The tinyhome neighbors were within earshot but everybody had their space and it still felt private. Our dog enjoyed the location as well. No real access to the river for swimming, etc, but lovely view and peaceful surroundings. Definitely recommend the little walk on the property to the waterfall. Would stay again. Thanks!
