Good location. Clean, basic. We needed a room for a few hours on our last night before getting to the airport early AM. Unfortunately we were given a room on the ground floor right next to the reception - lots of noise, phone ringing all night, loud customers etc. We barely slept and kept waking up every hour. Maybe this was the last room they had but still, it was anything but restful. We contacted the hotel after through the Expedia messaging system with no reply. If you decide to stay, make sure it is a room in the upper floors.

Standards have slipped from previous experience
Had to wait till 3 p.m. for a 2 p.m. check in. Safe in room did not function and staff were unable to correct this. Heating barely worked. Tap in bathroom was leaking badly. Towels were rather worn and need replacing . The special Sabbath lift was non functioning. Disappointed that security taken on credit card at check in will not be cancelled for a month.

Don't leave your luggage with them for storage, they'll just leave it in unattended in the lobby. Otherwise, an ok hotel at a good location.

Good stay in Jerusalem
The hotel is really nice and comfortable, really modern and quite close from the Center, but in a nicer area. The only bad thing is that the receptionists were not that helpful for anything

Jerusalem Castle Hotel excellent
Cozy and well kept hotel. Staff were nice and helpful. I like the fact that they offered airport shuttle service that helped save a lot of money compared to ordering a taxi.

The hotel is in a nice area 20 mins walk from new and old city. The staff were very helpful especially Marcus who drew maps for us on our first few days to help us find our way around.

Good staff, needs a little work.
The staff here were wonderful. Helpful with questions, friendly, great service. But the hotel had some issues. My bedsheets were dirty when I arrived, and halfway through my week stay, they were changed... with more dirty sheets. Bath towels had makeup stains on them. Bathroom was mildewy. There were burglar bars on the bathroom window, and yet the sliding door right next to that window wouldn't lock. ALSO, please note that there are no "Do Not Disturb" signs for the hotel room doors; this lead to my being barged in upon, while I was napping on the day I arrived, by a hotel employee. One good thing about the hotel is the neighborhood it's in; very quiet, peaceful, upscale, but just ten minutes or so walk to start seeing the sites.

The place looked really nice in the pictures but it should be called a hostel instead of a hotel. The price they charge for the rooms is extremely high for what it is. The breakfast which I payed extra for was terrible. The staff is friendly and the balcony outside is nice. I wouldn’t come back here.
