Perfect for a family vacation!
Our family (including two kids 5 and under) stayed for a week in late August, and had a wonderful, relaxing vacation! The condo has plenty of space to spread out, is very clean and comfortable, and has so many great amenities and extras. The kitchen is well stocked, so we were able to easily cook dinners a couple times, there were some great kids' toys/games and books, a keyboard that was fun for the kids to play, and two little porches with a hammock and table and chairs. Smuggler's Notch Resort was a perfect, relaxing place for an end-of-summer getaway, and we were able to do a couple days out and about (Burlington, Shelburne, etc.), with the rest on property. It was nice to only need to pay the Resort's "Daycation" fee for the days we wanted to use their pools/indoor playground/activities. A fun surprise was finding a pretty brook running just outside the property, next the trails you can explore, and the sound of which you can hear with the windows open. John was a great host - very helpful with questions and sent clear and useful info for checking in and using the property. We would definitely come back!

Great place to stay during the Green Mountain Disc Golf Championship
This was a great place to stay while we attended the Green Mountain Disc Golf Championship. We were able to take a shuttle or walk to the course each day. The hikes on the complex were great. We did short trips to the waterfall near the Notch, the town of Stowe, and Stony Grove apple orchard down the road. Communication with the host was great. One suggestion, It would be helpful to have a room layout picture in the listing since the room/bed layouts are a little different.

Smugglers Notch- apartment
This property was spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. The large master suite, second bedroom, and living room with adjoining kitchen were just right for our stay allowing us to sleep, watch family movies, and prepare full meals. We also used a nearby charcoal grill. We purchased the Smuggler's Notch “Daycation Pass” in order to use the pools which were conveniently located nearby. When our car wouldn’t start the last day the host flexed our check out time while we coordinated repairs (Thanks John!)

Long weekend
This property was definitely spacious and gives plentry of privacy for a family of five. It was very clean although it could definitely use some updates and if you plan on doing lots of cooking you may want to bring a couple pots and pans. The selection of tea that was shown as many choices, was down to only one kind, so also bring your favorite. The second kitchenette was not functional, overall a comfortable stay.

Time at Smuggs with the kids
The accomodations were perfect for 2 families which left more than enough space for me and 3 teens! Short walk to the lift. Easy in. Easy out. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Great place for a family ski trip
We visited Smugglers Notch for our first family ski trip and this condo ended up being a great choice for us. Everything felt clean and we had everything we needed. The space is set-up like two attached apartments. When you walk in the front door, there is a door straight ahead leading to the kids room, 2nd bathroom, and the master room; and there is a door to the right that leads to the main living space with the Murphy bed. This worked out well for us because it allowed for a little extra privacy. The condo building itself seems to have thin walls, but the neighbors seemed to quiet down and go to bed by around 10pm. The location was great. It was a short walk over to the Village Lift area at Morse Mountain where they meet for lessons and kid’s camp. There was also an on-call shuttle service at the resort that picked up right at the end of the condo building. Access to the pool was not included in our stay, but we could use the sauna located in the building upstairs. Overall, we had a great trip and would be happy to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

Great Stay.
Great location and had plenty of amenities to house six guys comfortably. Once we grabbed our skis from the locker, it was as simple as walking across the street and strapping up!

Great location, felt like home
Walkable to the village, lifts, and pool, and had everything we needed to feel like a true home away from home. Some of the units at Smuggs are owned by rental companies and you can tell because they feel like hotels - this felt like home, and we were so much more comfortable there for it. Cozy, comfortable and inviting, perfect to spend the hours off the slopes.

Great location, comfortable condo, memorable family ski trip!
Wonderful family ski trip with our 7 and 8 year old kids. The condo was easy to drive up to and unload our car. No issues with parking. Only a 2 floor walk up. Ski lockers available on 1st floor. About a half a mile walk to the ski lift area. Comfortable beds. Kids loved the toys and keyboard. Plenty of room with a kitchen that works well with pans and pots that are good. That comes in handy as on peak weeks you need to get your dinner reservations for the hearth and candle about 6 weeks in advance (or eat late). There’s a country store at the resort with a good selection for groceries. Washer and dryer worked well. As with most of these rentals the toilet plumbing is slow/delicate. Big coffee maker gave me a fresh cup of coffee each morning. It takes cone filters. Skiing at smugglers notch is more affordable than other VT locations. So nice for beginner lessons or more skilled skiers who want to get away from the busier mountains.
