The Best Hosts
The Nest is a quaint place for two to escape from the city and submerse yourself into nature. We rode bikes, hiked, pedaled in the boat, and slept in of course! Roland and Susan are the kindest most welcoming people you'll ever meet. They have outdone themselves in creating a home away from home. The property is gorgeous and they welcome you to explore. We enjoyed our visit with them as well and can't wait to go back. ❤ Tina and Justin

Absolutely fantastic!!
If you want a great place to unwind, this is your spot!!! Beautiful property, clean, wonderful host and relaxing. My husband enjoyed the stocked pond and I enjoyed the covered patio areas to just sit and listen to nature. We will 100% be back soon!

Slice of Country Paradise
This place was beautiful and rustic. The host are amazing and so kind. I wish I had booked longer so we could really appreciate all the things the property had to offer. We felt like we were staying in a Swiss Cottage over looking a beautiful field with adorable cows. The place was built with so much love you can feel it from the quality of craftmanship. We hope to be back soon!

The rental was everything I had hoped for. The comfortable and charming interior made our stay pleasurable. Our hosts were gracious and welcoming. We enjoyed the time spent on our private porch overlooking the grazing cattle nearby. Enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful property for our wedding!
We rented The Nest & Bird Cottage for the weekend & rented the pavilion & had our wedding on this property. It was gorgeous & picture-perfect. The houses were great also & the kids visiting during the day loved the paddle boat. Our only problem was that they seemed to be irritated by something, I don't know if it was the amount of people we had attend or what (about 75), but we did give them plenty of notice (at least 9 months) of what our plans were & nothing went outside of plans. They seemed to think we violated some rules, but we cleaned up after everything (as the bride, I didn't do it all, but I checked myself before we left), didn't have more than the amount of people allowed staying the night, and nobody smoked. Overall, I think they had a different idea than what we did but we did our best to respect their property and followed the rules and made sure our guests did as well. Everyone is still commenting on how beautiful it was and how wonderful the whole thing turned out, so we made it work! I'm sure it'd be a very relaxing stay for that intended purpose. We had a wonderful, celebratory time for ours! :)

The Bird’s Nest
We had a wonderful getaway weekend at the Bird’s Nest. The scenery was beautiful and we truly enjoyed the quietness and beauty of the property. Our hosts were so welcoming and available to answer any questions that we had. It was a great place to relax and unwind.
