Old and drafty!
It is a very old and drafty hotel. The reception area is beautiful but the room we booked and the alternate room we were offered both facing the river, had great views but we're drafty and noisy. The doors to the balcony had about an inch gap in it. We could not stay there and moved on. Now the refund we were promised is slow in coming back to us. Terrible shame as he location and views are great.

I received a deal on this hotel through Expedia, so all in all it was absolutely worth what I paid for. The room was clean but dated. It’s obvious some of the furniture suffered water damage at some point, and the balcony door didn’t open. The ice machine was broken. The hotel has easy access to the Riverwalk and is walkable to some dining options and the Skyway, so getting around Jacksonville was a breeze. At the rate I paid, I definitely would stay again. But not for full price.

Not high end at all.
The room has two twin beds. That super cheap for s so called high end hotel. The blanket on the bed was dirty. There was mold over near the balcony. You can hear all the noise from outside . Ice machines on three different floors did not work. Other than the location it was a bad stay.

This hotel is in terrible need of renovation. The carpet is worn through in areas, what appears to be mold was under the glass of picture frames, etc. Beds were clean and the staff excellent. If not for the staff, this would have been a one star rating.

I travel frequently and have stayed in countless hotels over the years, but this was, without a doubt, the worst experience I’ve ever had. The room was filthy—stains on the carpet, hair in the bathroom, and the sheets didn’t even seem freshly washed. It smelled musty, as if it hadn’t been cleaned properly in months. On top of that, the humidity was unbearable. It was so damp that the ceiling was leaking, leaving puddles on the floor. The air felt heavy and sticky, making it impossible to relax. I’m amazed they haven’t addressed this major issue, as it made the room feel even more unsanitary. Beyond the dirt and humidity, the hotel felt unsafe. The locks on the door were flimsy, and I noticed several suspicious individuals lingering in the hallways late at night, and smoking weed. The overall atmosphere made me extremely uncomfortable staying there alone. This hotel fails on every level—cleanliness, safety, and basic maintenance. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Avoid this place at all costs!

Dated. Poor cover-up remodel. Stale/smelly room. Inoperative bathroom ventilation. Poor looking furniture. Cleaners tried to enter room just after 8am second morning. Room not tended after first night. Had to obtain fresh towels. Only one set provided and not tended - no towel hangers. Parking too high. Breakfast costly for premade/packaged food. Here's my opinion on what I liked. Riverview and location.

Do not stay here
The hotel is very dated and in need of serious renovations. The room smelled musty and the bed was hard as a rock. The first night we met friends in the lobby for drinks. The guy playing the guitar and attempting to sing was obviously under the influence. You could not understand what he was singing. He came over to our group, flailed his arm and broke my wine glass which sent wine and glass all over my husband. Managers came over to see if I was okay and brought me a new glass of wine but did not even tend to my husband. No room service or coffee maker in the room. We will not stay here again.
