Nice area and overall good stay. The last night I was there I was woken up to the front desk person and another man knocking/trying to open my door at night because the guy was apparently looking for a bag he left in the room when he stayed in it. When I checked into that room earlier that day, there was a bag in there and i immediately told the front desk guy and he grabbed it/put it in a closet, so i found it strange that he was trying to get into my room close to midnight when he knew the bag was no longer in my room. Glad I brought a portable door lock!

Good value to be close to Grand Tetons. Would be nice to have a coffee maker in room. Also lacked hair dryer in room.

The room was clean. My only concern was the lighting: In the day it seemed dark (cave like} even with the lights on; at night the drapes did not totally block the light coming from the hallway so it seemed a little bright to sleep. WE managed, and besides that it was good. WE requested an early check in but was not able to get it eventhough we believed the rooms had been cleaned. The staff told us that the "system" would not allow it!!! That seemed alittle unreasonable to us not to have the flexibility for this simple request. On the other hand Driggs is a very nice community with friendly folks and there was plenty to see and do.

We did not have a great stay here for the following reasons: 1) smell. There is a terrible, overwhelming smell in the back building that I believe is due to the weather-treated wood paneling. It is extremely strong and pervasive. Luckily, in our room, you could only smell it near the door, otherwise there is no way we would have been able to stay. It was that bad. 2) pool wasn’t heated. Our kids were looking forward to swimming, but the pool was basically hose water. 3) water temp in shower. It goes from scalding hot to freezing cold. I would never stay here again.

The atmosphere is very nice, staff was very helpful. The mattress was comfortable but pillows were awful, glad we had our own pillows otherwise the night sleep would have been ruined. The breakfast options were not bad, but it didn’t taste good. The waffle was spongy and sour, the sausage was rubbery, coffee was good.
