4 Bedroom Villa (country house ) of unique character created by the owners, sleeps up to 7 with large private pool of 13 mtr x 6 mtr and waterfall at one end. Decorated and furnished to a very high standard throughout and well maintained inside and out all year round. FREE WIFI.* NOTE: New Air Conditioning Units Fitted to Bedrooms April 2024.

The property is situated in the small hamlet in the area of iznajar and its lake where it enjoys the type of location that everyone dreams of ; south facing with sun all day and panoramic, breathtaking views across the valleys through olive groves and mountains. Lake and town of Iznajar is a 10 minutes drive from the property to the actual lake where you find bar/restaurants and water sports facilities such as pedalos, canoeing, kayaks and sunbeds to hire.

Bedroom 1 with king size bed. Bedroom 2 with double bed. Bedroom 3 (attic room with its original beams) with 2 x double beds. Bedroom 4 single bed.

*All the beds have quality mattresses.

Bathroom 1 Family with bath/shower over, WC, bidet and washbasin. Bathroom 2 Attic ensuite to attic bedroom with large walk in shower, WC and washbasin.

Family room having a large free standing wood burner, television unit with a LG Smart TV, Stream Netflix, Amazon Prime plus much more. Stereo music system. 2 x large leather sofas and armchair, coffee table and lamp side table. Large oak dining table with high back leather chairs.

Library/study Large sofa corner suite with table and large armchair, lamp table and bookcases with wide selection of books and various board games. *Bedroom1, King size bed and has built in wardrobes plus other furniture. *Bedroom 2, 1 x Double bed and has a large free standing antique wardrobe plus other furniture and armchair. *Attic Bedroom, 2 x Double beds and free standing furniture. * Bedroom 4, single bed and has built in wardrobe and an armchair.

Kitchen built in units with granite worktops, fitted large fridge, electric oven, extractor fan, hob, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle plus pots and pans, crockery, glass's, cutlery. Utility/Pantry Room next to kitchen having a washing machine, deep chest freezer, dishwasher, hoover and shelving for storage.

Swimming Pool which is not heated is 13 meters x 6 meters and is one depth all over for safe swimming and has a natural stone built waterfall at one end. Decking seating area which is shaded by the grand old oak tree overlooks the fish pond and waterfall at the top of the landscaped garden having a variety of ornamental plants, shrubs, trees and fruit trees of which you are welcomed to pick when in season. There are a number of terraces around the landscape gardens which has chairs and tables and sun loungers including the interior patio/courtyard which has a small table and chairs plus a small sofa.

The Barbecue area which overlooks the swimming pool with its built in table and seating with fabulous views. Looking at the photographs will give you some idea of the interiors and exteriors of the property .

A view that let’s you know you are on Holiday
We enjoyed a fabulous week in August at Casa Brigadoon. The Villa is located on the Hills outside Iznajar with stunning morning views of the sunrise over the mountains and the Olive groves. The pool is spectacular- I believe 16m by 6 so very large for a holiday rental. The house is fully kitted out with everything you could need and we enjoyed meals in the fabulous shaded outdoor seating area. The new Aircon in all the bedrooms meant sleep was comfortable despite the midsummer heat. Supermarkets are plentiful and we ate out in Iznajarx2 which was nice quality. The purpose of our trip was to visit Granada and Cordoba which the property its1.20mins in between both. They are just stunning cities. One final note Pam and Tom could not be more helpful with Pams exquisite Lemoncurd and other goodies in the fridge and Tom constantly on the go to make the pool as wonderful as possible for you. We loved it.of

Great Find
Beautifully kept property with a fabulous pool. Right in the middle of the olive growing region about 10 minutes to the local town of Iznajar. Good roads to the property. The hosts live in half of the property and the other half is for guests. There are air con towers provided, generally these would be sufficient, but temperatures reached about 41 degrees while we were there. We would have loved built in air con units, but understand that the cost for this would be high. Pam and Tom were great hosts, very knowledgeable and helpful. Thoroughly recommend a stay at Finca Brigadoon and hopefully will return in the near future.

Holiday a Finca Brigadoon
A lovely house in a spectacular situation. Tom and Pam were very friendly and helpful and Tom kept the pool in an immaculate condition. Our family enjoyed a super holiday. The property was very convenient for visiting Granada, Cordoba, Seville and Ronda. Tom also provided us with local information about shops, markets and parking in the different towns. We would not hesitate to recommend it to our friends.

A lovely vacation home
Thomas and Pamela are very hospitabel people. The house is great and big and the pool is fantastic. We loved the chickens and the beautiful mountains. It is a very peaceful and quiet environment. We were with our whole family (our 4 adult kids) and grandma and we had a great time for 16 days.

Sehr schön und ruhig
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Urlaub. Die Aussicht war herrlich. Im Haus gab es alles was man braucht. Im Kühlschrank hatten das Ehrpaar Nahrungsmitteln für den ersten Tag, falls man es nicht gelich zum einkaufen schafft. Das Haus war sehr sauber und kunstvoll eingerichtet. Für eine 5-köpfige Familie war das Haus super. Der Pool war sehr sauber und wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Es gab sehr viele Liegen, Sitzecken, im Garten auch Sitzmöglichkeiten und einen kleine Teich mit Fröschen und Fischen. Vor allen Fenstern gab einen Netz, damit die Mücken und Fliegen nicht ins Haus gelangen. Es gab sehr viele Bücher und Zeitschriften, Spiele und eine Luftmatratze. Das Ehrpaar Thomas und Pamela waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sie gaben uns sehr gute Tipps für die Ausflüge. Wir waren in August dort. Es war Nachts sehr heiss. Es fiel uns sehr schwer einzuschlafen. Es gab nur Ventilatoren, aber leider keine Klimaanlagen. Das ist der einzige Minuspunkt im Haus.
