Situated right between the Grand Bazaar and Sultanahmet, nearly all the main sights are within walking distance. Those that aren't, the tram is a few minutes walk away. There are restaurants and bars outside the door, with others a short walk. The staff are great and will help with everything. Rooms are small but have what you need. Request one out the back, as the street can get very noisy late into the night.

Very professional, polite and helpful front desk employees! The hotel is very close to the Main Street, breakfast was good and rooms were neat and clean! Surrounding areas are dirty and construction everywhere but the hotel itself is pretty clean and well kept!

Positives: - Staff were very friendly - Bed was comfortable to sleep in - Air conditioning worked well - Great Location, close to tourist attractions, tram line and restaurants - Some of the breakfast food such as sausages and scrambled egg was nice Negatives: - Muliple power cuts occured throughout the stay - Lift very slow and not working at times - On one occasion, room not cleaned properly and items not replenished - Had to request extra items such as pillows, iron and iron board. Gave broken iron on the first day. - When requesting more items, sometimes it took a long time to get what was asked for from reception. Sometimes reception didnt pick up the phone. - Some of the breakfast food such as breads was always hard - Incident. The floor of the hotel lobby was wet after they had mopped and there was no wet floor sign. My wife slipped and almost fell over because of this. - Fan in the bathroom makes too much noise. - Wifi wasnt very good. Slow upload and download speeds. Took a very long time to send pictures and videos to family. Went offline on a couple of occasions. Wasnt able to connect to Wifi in the hotel lobby. - Incident. Cleaner came into room without being invited in.

Hotel Kupeli
This boutique hotel is compact in nature but clean and perfect for a base. It is close to the tram line and historic sites but beware the steep streets - a great workout! The lady on reception is very friendly and helpful, we had a map on arrival and she showed us where we were and where the sites were. She also recommended a couple of places for food. There is a little shop opposite with essentials, cold drinks etc Breakfast was not a highlight for us but it all depends what you are used too. Starbucks is a short walk up the steep street!

The location was amazing and right in the middle of all the main tourist spots. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and clean however the ceiling light wasn't working in one of the two rooms we had, though all the lamps and other ambient lights were fine. The rooms were a lot smaller than they looked in the pictures.We had two connecting rooms.

The location was very good you can walk everywhere. All the mosques and bazar was close , staff were very helpful , the hotel is very dated especially the old part but the main is better , it’s good if your staying for a few days , break is ok It’s the staff and location that makes it good

Small hotel, probably family owned. Staff is the top item, as they are friendly, helpfull. They provide precise and usefull hits for tourists. Facility is small and simple but clean and well maintenanced. Located in the heart of Sultamet area.

Great stay is Istanbul
We stayed in the family room. It was spacious, well equipped and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast hours were great, until 10:30, and while options were always the same, they were great. The location is amazing, 5 minute walk to Sultanhamet.
