We just need to stay overnight nearby the airport. Grand hamit offers the free shuttle service for pick up and drop off at the airport. I really appreciate that they have five complimentary bottle waters in the room. Very short walking distance to the grocery store and convenience stores.

It's not that close to the airport, about 17km. Our room is right next to a busy road. The worst part was the air-conditioning. The room was cold and we couldn't get it to a comfortable temperature. Couldn't sleep much, which was the main reason for choosing this hote.

Great Place To Stay!
Great place to stay. It was clean and comfortable! The staff was very accommodating as well. They even gave me breakfast for no charge, when it was not part of the package. It is three stops from the airport on the metro, then a short 10 minute walk. It is a great place to experience a real Turkish neighborhood. The prices for everything, are much less than in Istanbul. People complaining about it not being close to the airport, or no shuttle, need to do their own research. I enjoyed my stay here, and would not hesitate to stay again.

The hotel is perfect for a short stay, if you need to be close to the airport. It’s not located in a touristy place, so the area around it reflects normal life. There are shops, places to eat and even a mall. We were very happy with our stay, the wonderful staff and the comfortable room and bed. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was newly renovated. We would definitely stay here again
