The staff were friendly and helpful about hotel services, restaurants and transfer bookings. The Reception staff spoke English. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast area and some rooms have a view of the Sea of Marmara and ruins of the Palace of Bukoleon. The breakfast food was plentiful and varied. The hotel has its own small Turkish bath. The hotel is a short uphill walk to the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet Square, Topkapi Palace, the tramway and the many restaurants and shops near those attractions. It is a delightful hotel and very well located.

Staff was superb! They make the whole difference. We left an uncle in Istanbul :). The area is excellent. Everything close by within walking distance; Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque, Gran Bazaar, Spices Bazaar, Topkapi Palace, etc. Lot of shopping and dining places. Great breakfast!

BEST STAFF EVER!!! I would book this hotel OVER and OVER AGAIN for the staff and how amazing they are. they were the reason why we could have meals in peace with our 10-month-old son. They were the reason why we were able to enjoy Istanbul. They took care of everything from helping us fill up the bottle to boiling apples for our son's meals to organizing taxis for us to recommending amazing lunch spots to provide babysitters. EVERY LITTLE THING WAS TAKEN CARE BY THEM!! BEST STAY EVER!!! thank you so much to Uncle Selih and his entire incredible team!

The hotel is very conveniently situated - 6 min walk to the Blue Mosque and Sultanahmet Square, 10 min walk to Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. It's much cheaper than some of the bigger American chains like Hyatt. If your aim is to find a place to rest your tired body after a day's travels then you can't go wrong with this hotel. The breakfast was pretty good. There is a bar and room service. I would have rated the place higher if it was maintained better. Some switches didn't work, there were cracks in the marble and tiles. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

I had a phenomenal stay here. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The service was exceptional. The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the water. The hotel is in a great location. Easily walkable to all the sites in Sultanhamet. I would highly recommend.

The view is amazing, especially from the room (402) we had. There was a war-around balcony with access from the bedroom and the bathroom! Staff was extremely nice and helpful Special thanks to Maeleki (apologies for the spelling), Salih and Ali.

I stayed in the junior suite. The views from the room were amazing of the blue mosque, and the Bosporus sea. The room was well maintained and clean. The staff at the hotel were great, they were friendly, helpful and courteous. The location of the hotel is great close to everything, restaurants, cafes, mini-markets, tourist landmarks and banks. The things I didn’t enjoy was my room felt a little cramped, and didn’t really have a balcony just a small standing space, the breakfast spread was not that great for the price of $13 a person.

Location is close to touristy spots, however the hotel is right next to train tracks. The train goes by pretty frequently and you can hear it loudly. Also, there was a lot of noise coming from the room above ours. We complained to management, but nothing was done. It was hard to sleep with this noise all night long. Rooms could use updating. The blanket on the bed only covered one person. We had to bring in a blanket from another room so we both would have coverage. Staff was friendly, but I would not stay here again.
