Hotel is in a very good location and clean but the staff need training. Very poor management and staff very unprofessional. We had bought lunch from outside and thought we'll take it into the dining room as it was 4pm, which was empty, and they only serve breakfast in the dining room so it wasnt like there where other guests going to come. Rude staff came and told us we either take it to our room or eat in reception. We then moved our lunch half way through the meal to reception where all the staff where gawking and whispering to one another. I usually stay in hilton brand hotels but thought id gice IHG a try but never again. Pool and facilties are good but as i said staff need training. The above wasnt the only situation we had with staff.

VERY dated property did not feel 5* more so 3-4*. The rooms were definitely not soundproof / Cleaning was erratic probably due to inexperienced staff / extras were not replenished to an 5* standard ( no gowns or toiletries) and lifts did not work most days. BUT Excellent location for shopping etc. Breakfast was a bonus. Staff were great and very attentive. Wanted a 5* experience so next time we will probably stay somewhere else.

Staff was very helpful. House keeping was top notch. Where my room was located i could hear people from the outside and every morning i could hear the delivery lorries beeping. Something they cant control was road work at the front of hotel. It's not management it's municipality. Other than that one week stayed was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend it.

Great hotel. Very friendly service. Special praise for hotel staff Juliana who guided us with tips on how and where to get around in Istanbul. Good location. Metro and tram stations close by Excellent breakfast. Small rooms but well kept. Only issue is the sound of tram in the night. Can the windows be sound proof. It is a five star hotel.

Crowne plaza itself overall was exrcellent But the main entrance under road construction which ruin my wheel new luggage. When we checked out I did hired their airport transfer to save wheel luggage.
