1960 motel run by family which is better than it looks. The beds were very good, the temperature control was good; the bathroom was tiny but clean, the towels almost threadbare; poor parking lot and entrance condition, somewhat poor sound insulation. The owner is outstanding in service.

This is an older 17 unit motel that has been nicely updated. The bathroom had new wall tiles and flooring. Nice big showerhead and new taller super flush toilet. I loved that they kept the retro pink sink and tub! King size bed and wall tv...we watched the Olympics last night. It was immaculate. The rate was a bargain. I always like to stay in these smaller motels, not a fan of the big chain ones. And it's all on the ground floor and you park in front of the unit. The night before we were at a chain and the elevator was not working and we had to haul our suitcases up to the second floor. We are retired and way too old to be doing that! The Royal Motel was perfect for us.

Clean and quiet. Owner is very welcoming and friendly. You can tell he really cares how your stay goes. I would highly recommend for those traveling with kids that need a clean and safe place for an overnight.

I forgot to ask for the WiFi p/w. When I remembered it, the office was closed. Would suggest it be placed in the rooms on an information sheet. Nice amenities. Bath was clean, bed was clean and comfortable. Floor needed vacuuming. TV was difficult to operate. Minor items. Easy fixes.

Quaint hotel.
I love the quaint atmosphere- feels like a 60's hotel. Unfortunately the bathroom rug, the bedspread, the curtains and carpet LOOK like they're from the 60's! Clean but stained and SO worn!! Please update your property, or change your price to $50/ night, which is what a "worn hotel" is worth.

No water. No air conditioning. Broken door lock. Bed was worn out and just sagged. This motel should be torn down and Expedia should remove it. I don’t want to pay them. HORRIBLE

Host was great! Room was a little tired, but clean, and we had a good sleep. As in most of our trip, this TV also did not work, but we were so tired, a book then an early nite! Good wifi.
