Great location close to Porcupine Mountains. Older renovated property, adequate. Needs new mattresses, bedding and lighter colors throughout. Robert, breakfast attendant was outstanding, personable & refilling coffee at patrons tables. We did not use the restaurant, but had a nice view of the water. Didn’t use the bar either due to dark dingy atmosphere. Employees at the front desk were friendly & helpful.

We had an amazing time with our family. The pool area was perfect. The outside beach area was very nice and clean and very relaxing to spend time with the family. The river next to the lake was really nice, bring a fishing pole.

The bay view is nice, lake superior is blocked from view on most areas of this shoreline and the hotel is tucked in a nice spot. Just wish we'd had nicer weather on our stay, it was very windy with lots of waves so we werent able to enjoy the lake much. Obviously not the hotels fault, on a day of calm weather itd be perfect. Would stay here again.

We had first floor right by entry door and it was loud, had to keep curtains closed cause cars parked right outside. The carpet smelled like wet dog with a black residue that was on my feet. Check in receptionist was rude. Bed was hard with old bedding. Not worth the price tag
