Bonvoy has lost the customer centricity. I have had much better experiences at other chain hotels to day at the least this year. They have become much more rigid and un-serving. The loyalty program and recognition has also lost the glory it once had.

Reception staff was excellent. Stand out was Amit the manager..extremely helpful. Room was decent for what we paid. Area is off the highway so a little noisy but very conveniently located. Restaurant food was excellent , both breakfast and adhoc lunches , buffet, room service. Restaurant service was slow. So many staff members but not well coordinated. They always forgot to bring stuff we asked and needed to be reminded several times. However room service was very good. Cleaning staff was also responsive.

Unsatisfactory on many counts.
Several issues, but will name only three : 1: There was a problem with the cots in the room (and the hotel also accepted that there is a problem) and we had to change room twice before we finally setteled down. 2: I gave a trouser for laundry and they charged me Rs 325 !! From Indore I went to Goa where I stayed in Taj Vivanta, a far higher rated property, where they charged me only 160 for one trouser. Rs 325 for just simple laundry of one trouser, is atrocious. 3: I was surprised that a Mariott doesn't have a swimming pool.
