The private villas boasts open concept floor plans purposefully designed to accommodate casual weekend getaways, large family retreats, corporate events, weddings or the ultimate music festival experience. The Santal Estate is set with the majestic backdrop of the La Quinta desert mountains, making for the perfect retreat for some R&R when you're not racing BMW M cars at the Thermal Race Track on a Saturday afternoon. WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK OUT?
Check in is after 3PM local time, and check out is no later than 11AM. Early check in and late check out may be available for your reservation upon request. Please reach out for the cost and availability.

WILL I NEED TO MEET THE PROPERTY MANAGER TO GET A KEY?
All TRAVLR Vacation Homes have keyless locks. This keyless system allows entry into the vacation rental through the issue of a “code” rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier.

DO YOU PROVIDE DAILY CLEANING SERVICE?
TRAVLR Vacation Homes provides a departure clean on all stays. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee.

CAN WE HAVE THE POOL HEATED?
Your reservation "resort fee" includes the cost of pool heat (up to 80-82 degrees). This fee is not included on Airbnb bookings.

WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH MY ACCOMMODATIONS?
All of our vacation rentals are furnished and have a kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Each property is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew measuring spoons and more. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and we also offer a spice rack, salt and pepper.

There are bath towels, pool towels and bed linens. We also provide an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap and dishwasher soap. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner and liquid body wash. Laundry facilities are also equipped with laundry soap and dryer sheets.

CAN I SHIP A PACKAGE TO MY VACATION HOME?
We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, we do not have mailbox keys, and there are many different people with access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc... so we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered.

DO YOUR HOMES HAVE OUTDOOR MUSIC SYSTEMS?
Yes! The entire property both inside and out is filled with speakers that are setup in different zones so you can enjoy it wherever you are and even have different music playing in different areas. To use, simply download the Sonos app and connect to our Wi-Fi system. You can then control your music from Spotify, Apple Music and more. Due to city regulations though, the outdoor music speakers will not work between the hours of 9PM and 8AM (the indoor ones will though). Please note that bringing your own outdoor speakers is strictly forbidden unless pre-approved by management and could result in a $5000 fine from the city of Indio.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house, but our experience was mixed, to be fair. The home itself is outstanding. It looks just like the pictures. Beautiful grounds and an outstanding master bedroom. It is spacious and nicely decorated. The management at first seemed very responsive for the most part. After checking in, we asked if there we more hangers available, and a little later, brand new hangers appeared at our front door which was so nice. However, really good management is proactive and not reactive. It soon became clear that no one from the management company had done a walkthrough of the property for quite a while. A drawer in the master closet was in pieces when we checked in and all the towel hooks in one of the bathrooms were off the wall, one was inside a drawer. There were many, many signs of wear and tear that a professional management company should have addressed. The most frustrating experience we had was with the Sonos speakers by the pool. Music was barely audible, even if you were sitting next to the speakers. We inquired multiple times about the low volume over the first few days of our stay and were dismissed each time - no other way to put it. The response was that there are strict noise ordinances for the area that can't be violated. Meanwhile, for three consecutive days, the people in the neighboring property - which is managed by the SAME company - were throwing huge parties. We could hear their music but not ours, and there were people literally throwing up in the street outside the house. However, the answer for us was we couldn't violate the noise policy. It was lazy management and it seemed like they were running it remotely, only dispatching vendors for issues. When they realized we were losing patience, they finally sent someone over and he witnessed there was a real problem with the volume settings and corrected it. The bottom line is that the house is really great, but they really need to step up their game. There are a lot of missing details. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils, etc. but missing a lot of staples like olive oil, red pepper or chip clips, etc. The pool is wonderful, but there wasn't one noodle or float (there are 3 now, and a pump - you're welcome). It would be nice to have a remote for the garage door rather than an app. These things didn't necessarily stop us from enjoying the house, but I wouldn't be comfortable renting from the same company again based on our experience.

The kitchen was well stocked, pool was awesome and kids were very happy. Beds were very comfortable. We almost missed the “secret” bedroom inside the kitchen pantry- but glad we didn’t. Amazing Ladies Relaxed Birthday Getaway!
We would absolutely book this place again! What a stunning oasis for quality time and relaxation :) The kids had a blast playing putt putt & playing in the pool! The ladies got a nice moment of R&R with sunny fun in the pool and calm sunsets with a hot tub dip :) I highly recommend this property! The management company was very welcoming and available for any questions or needs and responded very promptly and efficiently :)

I cannot say enough amazing things about this property and the management. Everything was perfect. From the fire pit to the volleyball court. We spent our days in the pool and the hot tub. We cooked and grilled every day. The bedrooms were so great. The primary bedroom is gorgeous - from the sitting area, walk-in closet and the giant and luxurious bathroom. Bunk beds for the kids were a hit. Any small issues that we encountered were fixed immediately. We could not have been happier. We will definitely be back.

We had a large family gathering and had a great time. The place is cool and the backyard is gorgeous with the fire pit, volleyball court, etc. There were a few kinks (issue with shower, ice maker) but the service makes up for it. You just send a message and a repair guy came the same day and they sent water and ice. Fun place to stay.

This home was everything it said it was and more! Host was amazing in pre, stay and post-stay communications. We came prepared so only had to leave the house once in four days to go play golf :)! The property is beautiful and the location was perfect for our needs. The backyard was definitely the biggest hit, we played games all weekend and would still be there having daily volleyball tournaments if we could! Killer House - The Best Backyard Ever
The management company is wonderful to work with; very accomodating and polite. They checked in with us at least twice a day to make sure we were taken care of. The house is unreal. It is very private, the rooms are spacious, the beds are super comfortable, and the most impressive feature is the backyard. The landcaping is perfect, the sonos system is great, the pool, the HUGE lawn, the multiple sporting goods (football, cornhole, ping pong, volleyball, frisbee, etc) were fun to use. We really had a great time.

Terrific place and stay, but...
Ok, the good- The place is lovely, comfortable, and super fun. It's as nice or nicer than the photos. All of our guests loved it. Well decorated, beautiful pool, good (and HOT!) hot tub, lovely space and grounds. Funky decoration, absolutely massive master suite, adequate kitchen-ware but do bring your own spices, oil, etc if you're planning on cooking. Received a text message on arrival to ask if everything was going well and if we had everything we needed. Good prompt communication from management. The bad- The drip coffee maker did not function properly and we were forced to make pour-over coffee into a thermos for 18 people. Management did pledge to replace this for the next guests. Some things were missed on the cleaning before we arrived like half eaten pork rinds leftover around the fire-pit. This was minor but noticeable. Sections of the lawn were weirdly not cut, but neither the guests nor dog cared much. The weird taste leftover- Upon leaving we left an item behind. They were kind enough to send it back to us at our cost plus a $25 handling fee. I found this a bit tacky and reminded them of our trouble with the coffee maker and they ultimately agreed to waive the $25 fee. Then a week after we left I received a message from the company we used to insure the vacation rental notifying me that a claim was being processed. This surprised me as we left the place in immaculate shape and followed all of the check-out procedures. The only damage we caused was to a very cheap plastic throw-away type adirondack chair near the fire-pit that broke. Management notified me that they found three broken cheap throw-away plastic adirondack chairs and that they were in fact submitting a claim to insurance. My girlfriend assured me that at least one of them was broken when we arrived, and I have no idea about the third one. Mgmt asked me to sign off on this or else I would be billed for the damages. My take-away from this is that they offer these insurance policies to renters and then, if you purchase one, will use them to cover damage that you may or may not have even caused. I am leaning toward signing off on their request but just found the whole situation tacky. If they invested in decent furniture around the fire pit consistent with what the rest of the house has, there would be no broken plastic and no claim. The experience had a bit of a "nickel and diming" feel to it, especially after dropping over $10K on a weekend stay.

Beautiful property for a family retreat and get together. We absolutely loved it.
We had a wonderful time on the property....it had everything for all of us. We range from 78 to 9 years of age....The only complaint I would voice (and which you had no control over) was the weather, but even with the cold and wind, we found plenty to keep us entertained indoors. It mets all of our needs and more. The staff we encountered were professional, accommodating and friendly. To put it bluntly, we are considering repeating at the same time next year, traffic be damned. When would be the best time to put in our reservations when we confirm with the rest of the family?

Amazing Backyard! Friendly Staff
Spent a holiday weekend here with the family and the property did not disappoint. You will spend all your time in the backyard. The staff was very accommodating. We hope to come back soon!
