This hotel is situated nicely on a quiet hill. The hotel is newly renovated and extremely clean. I have stayed here twice and the staff is accommodating. Independence is a small town with a few restaurants which are mostly closed on Sunday. There is a nice grocery store and a dollar store walking distance from the hotel. I stay here when I visit my children that are currently attending Oak Hill Academy. It is about a 15-20 minute drive up to the School from the hotel.

Have stayed here multiple times in the past year. Have always had a clean and comfortable room. The staff are helpful and polite. Very limited breakfast but hotel is in a convenient location with options nearby.
