The Space:
The Zen Den has a long and storied history as a space of spiritual reflection and whole-body rejuvenation. Carrying on this tradition, we have intentionally reduced the space of any clutter - in order to create space for you to calm your mind, step out of the hustle bustle city mindset, and tune in to the slow-moving magic of the mountains.

- QUIET HOURS observed on property between 10pm-8am
- PETS will be considered. Requires a pre-approval process + $100 non-refundable pet fee. Please see the "other details to note" section for more information about the pet approval process.

Mindfully designed to help you disconnect to reconnect, the Zen Den does NOT have a television. Also, it should be noted that the Zen Den tiny house sits on the same property as 2 other wellness cabins, with a beautiful communal outdoor space in addition to your private outdoor space. We invite you to meet and commune with fellow travelers in the "Gathering Grove" under towering Cedars and Manzanita Trees - complete with cozy Adirondack chairs, a hammock, and tree-shaded benches throughout... but if solo quiet time is more your thing, you can chill in your private backyard area.

Your exclusive outdoor space features a 4 season hammock, cozy patio furniture, outdoor solar lights, Weber gas grill, and beautiful nature views to enjoy.

Round out your trip with a beautiful meal at Alpaca Cafe, or a morning coffee at Alpaca Coffee and Tea - located just a 10-minute walk down the road. The town center of Idyllwild is a quick 3-minute drive from the property, or a beautiful 30-minute walk - along with hiking trails accessible within a 5-10 minute drive in all directions.

Please note - NO PARTIES and NO LOUD MUSIC are allowed on any of the Wildland Wellness Lodge properties, and the space is NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN under 12. TO GET PETS APPROVED

1. Message us the following information: Dog Name, Breed, Weight, Age, and a CURRENT PHOTO when requesting approval.
2. Up to 2 dogs allowed - NO EXCEPTIONS
3. NO PUPPIES - no exceptions
4. FRIENDLY, WELL-SOCIALIZED dogs only. We must meet your dog when you arrive to ensure a friendly demeanor before getting access to the space.
5. Dog must be ON LEASH WHEN OUTSIDE, AT ALL TIMES. Breaking this rule will result in the forfeiture of your security deposit.
6. Pets CANNOT be left unattended - EVER. Pet must GO WITH YOU everywhere you go, including meals out (this is a pet-friendly town).
7. Make sure your pet is included in your reservation under the number/type of guests.
8. $100 non-refundable pet fee will be added to your folio.

Guest Access:
Guests of The Wildland Zen Den are welcome to enjoy all outside communal areas in FRONT of the cabin (in addition to your PRIVATE backyard area), including the communal "Gathering Grove" space.

Parking on-site is limited to 1 car. No additional cars, no exceptions. Street parking not allowed, you will be towed. Photos indicating parking space will be sent to you prior to check-in. Please only park in the space assigned to The Zen Den to avoid inconveniencing other guests in the surrounding cabins on property.

10 minute walk to coffee/tea and brunch/lunch.

10 minute walk to beautiful vista lookout.

3 minute drive to the main part of town.

5-10 minute drives to many hiking trails.

20-30 minute drive to water play: Lake Hemet or Hurkey Creek in one direction, and Lake Fulmor in the other.

The Neighborhood:
Walkable to Mile High cafe and Alpaca Coffee and Tea - located just a 10 minute walk down the road. Looking for a gorgeous vista? We can give you directions to a beautiful lookout just a short walk away. The town center of Idyllwild is a quick 3 minute drive from the property, or a beautiful 30 minute walk - along with hiking trails accessible within a 5-10 minute drive in all directions.

Getting Around:
You will need a car in Idyllwild - there is no Uber or Lyft here. We are 1.5 hours from Palm Springs Airport.

4WD or AWD highly recommended during winter months, but FWD vehicles can be accommodated. Chains required for ALL vehicles during winter months in case of snow storms.

Other Things to Note:
Security Cameras have been installed (outside only) for your safety and security.

- PETS require a $100 pet fee.. PLEASE do not try to sneak in pets. Security cameras on site, as well as maintenance crews who will report animals not listed on reservations. Please do not create an uncomfortable situation by trying to sneak in a pet or extra guests.

Interaction with Guests:
We live down the street - so we are always available for anything you may need. Our cleaning team is often on property to use the laundry building, and our maintenance team is there weekly to keep things looking fresh. A full-time tenant currently lives on property and acts as our eyes and ears, making sure the Wildland Wellness Lodge fulfills our promise to provide a peaceful and restorative atmosphere for our guests.

This apartment offers its guests barbecue grills and a garden. The front desk is open around the clock.

This Idyllwild apartment is smoke free.
