3 queen beds in one room. But one bed was in its own room which gave my parents privacy from the kids and I. But it wasn’t a adjoining room. It was like a bedroom. The falls were across the street and the park itself was beautiful. Close to all kinds of food/restaurants. Walk in shower easy for my parents In Their 80s breakfast bar was better than any hotel I’ve stayed at. Not just the typical. Waffles, PANCAKES made fresh! Omlets made fresh to order! Or even scrambled! Fresh muffins not just store bought. And all the rest you expect. Kids loved the outdoor pool and the gym for the teens. The price seems high but it was comparable to another place I stayed at during this trip with a soso breakfast and an adjoining room. This motel was far more superior! I would stay here every time I came to Idaho falls! They also had a book with all the places to visit close by! And finally, it was extremely clean and modern! Can’t recommend this place enough! We stayed two different times and almost stayed another night but it was booked for a full week. Great kitchen too but we weren’t there long enough to really use it.

This was the second time I stayed here. It was just as excellent! They had bikes to rent and the park across the street was perfect to ride in or take a walk or run. The falls were right across the street. Very quiet and very clean! Great mattresses. Excellent shower with real water pressure. I will always stay here when visiting!

We are very impressed by The Driftwood. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, great location, wonderful staff, delicious breakfast. They have all the amenities you could want. The landscaping is gorgeous.

At first glance I was a little nervous with this property. It looks like a motel straight out of the 50s. However, the staff were pleasant, the room was clean, the king bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was incredible. It is also adjacent to a beautiful green space and next to the falls and several nice restaurants. Overall it is like a “Blast from the Past” with all the modern updates.

We loved this hotel! Beautiful view of the waterfalls and such a nice place to walk through the park and over the bridge to dinner. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast was the best I’ve had in a long time. My family really enjoyed everything about our stay!

Practically perfect in every way
We were in town for BYUI graduation and stayed here for one night. I was blown away by the courteous, efficient service we received. Driving through from Colorado to Montana. Chose this location due to the location. Beautiful views of the falls! Direct access to the riverwalk!! Very clean - everyone was very friendly!! To top it off, made to order omelet in the morning!
