Review for Pinedale Inn, Gravenhurst I recently stayed at Pinedale Inn in Gravenhurst and, unfortunately, I was disappointed by the experience. My room was not up to standard for cleanliness, with lipstick marks on the towels, brown spots, dust in the corners, and a dirty fridge. The property itself feels like it could use some more upkeep. Given the condition, I would have expected the room to be priced under $100, especially in the off-season; other nearby inns offering much better cleanliness standards were priced at $69 or $79. On a positive note, the view from the property is beautiful, and I appreciated the kitchen, which is convenient if you’re staying a few days and need to cook. The balcony was also a nice feature. However, without access to a kayak or boat, there isn’t much else to do, which makes it hard to justify the cost.

Pleasantly surprised as this felt like an Airbnb!
We were pleasantly surprised by this property. We thought this was a motel and didn't expect much. The property was very well managed. The suite has a separate bedroom with two beds and a small kitchen and a dining table. It felt like an Airbnb. The suite was very clean. The only issue was the room was quite warm and we couldn't find a way to lower the room temperature. We had to leave the window open to let the cool air in.

It was such a relaxing evening looking out over the water. The beds were comfortable and cozy. There is a set of steps down to the waterfront with a nice dock to sit and relax at as well. There is also supplies in the kitchen including a coffee maker and a toaster. For an older resort that has been renovated, we loved the location and really enjoyed our stay.

Overall great location, and very convenient. There’s access to grocery stores and the highway nearby. The view out onto Gull Lake was also very beautiful. The suite itself was convenient, with kitchen amenities and a clean bathroom. Other areas of the room could be improved to add a bit more polish (I.e. fixing broken hooks and adding filler to holes in the wall). Overall good quality for the price.
