Great staff, needs renovation.
The people (employees) were great, very friendly, and welcoming. Lots of renovation is needed on the property. We were in room 116 and when the toilet flushed upstairs you could hear dripping on the ceiling above us. The pool/hot tub wasn't working when we got there. They did get it fixed but the hot tub still wasn't very hot...maybe 99 at best.

Recently completed a three night stay over the Christmas holiday. On Christmas eve, there was a big party in the dining room. The party was loud, but broke up around 11:00. But it didn't end there. People running up and down the halls and slamming doors until 2:45AM. No one at the front desk would answer. Found out later, it was the manager's family. Stayed three nights and room was never cleaned or resupplied. Person at the desk told us they don't clean the rooms due to liability. Pool was filthy, so we didn't use it. Wish I could give zero stars. Definitely won't be staying there again.

Upon arrival there were 2 a quad cars in the parking lot. Quite an introduction to River Falls. Bathroom floors were dirty. Toe nail clippings on bathroom floor. The bathroom door has rust due to the fact the ceiling fan does not work. There is mold on the shower curtain. The water temperature in the bathroom is scolding hot. Someone is going to suffer severe burning if they are not careful, especially a child. The shower curtain is totally inadequate. We had to mop up the water on the floor after each shower. No in room microwave, no coffee pot!!!! My wife is disabled and we soon discovered the entrance doors are manual, no handicapped assisted doors. Pool and hot tub were closed. No advanced notification of being closed We were unable to regulate the heat. It got so warm we had to turn the ac on a couple times during the night even with an outside temperature at 5 above. The mattresse must be 20 plus years old. It was like sleeping in a “bounce house”. No ice. The woman at the front desk had to wait for her boss to get here so he could give her cash to run to a convenience store to get some. Needless to say, we won’t be staying there again.

First room no heat, moved to 2nd room, the smoke detector hanging loose, fan doesn’t work in bathroom, ice machine broke, no microwave in room, no Kleenex in room, outlets hard to get at for charging, no sausage for breakfast (ran out 2 days ago, coffee in lobby was lukewarm (no microwave)The place was clean and staff were great but building needs upkeep.

This is a very rundown hotel. There is limited personal available, room was not cleaned. The hear would not shut off at all . Breakfast was pathetic. Cereal with no milk, eggs were cold a well as the sausages. Would not recommend.

The common area could use a good cleaning, the stair rail I don't think had been dusted in months. Looking at the pool from the 2nd floor window, it did not look like something I would want my kids to go into, looked very dirty on the bottom of the pool, I did not go down to look up close.

Room was very outdated, not enough room to hang clothes, but was small, had no elevator, bathroom shower was in disrepair, breakfast was the same every day, cold, dry scramble eggs, greasy sausages and [poor selection of morning rolls. The manager was not very unfriendly. All in all I could not recommend this hotel. Not many choices in River Falls, suggest you try a neighboring town. John
