Don’t ever book La Quinta! Having booked 2 months in advance we arrived after an exhausting transatlantic flight upon arrival that they had given away our room. Presumably because of hurricane damage - of which we could not detect a sign. And even if true, why didn’t they have the decency to cancel upfront? Terrible attitude towards the customers. Only thanks to Expedia support did we find an alternative for the night.

We booked a room months in advance. We show up to the hotel and had to wait several minutes for an employee to come to the front desk. Then she told us they had 0 rooms and that we should’ve been contacted (no one contacted us). She said there was nothing she could do, wouldn’t even call another hotel nearby to see if they had accommodations for us. We ended up booking a room at a hotel 10 mins down the road. The property was dark and smelled dirty. Will not do business with them again.

The staff wasn't very friendly, they advertised a pool the pool was completely filled in with dirt. The room wasn't as clean as it could have been. They are renovating so there was a lot of dust. It took them two days to clean the elevator after we called to inform them someone had urinated in it. It appears that they are taking government monies to house the homeless. The hotel towards the last days of our stay changed drastically as far as the guest that were staying there. I would never stay there again nor recommend that hotel.

Great hotel, clean and comfortable bed
We stayed overnight during a mini family reunion. I was able to book into a King bed with no issues. My daughter and I slept comfortably and I have a bad back and my back was great after my sleep. Chronic pain sufferer for 15+ years and the bed did not hurt me.
