It was good for a 1 day stay
Everything was good except that when I try to check in. There was no one at the front desk & there was 1 customer ahead of me. I had to wait like 20-30 minutes while I was calling the general manager’s # but not pick up. I even try to call the office # & I hear it ringing from the room next door behind the front desk but no one was in the room as well

I checked in late after 9pm and Hotel was fully booked..The room was clean and not noisy stayed on the 3rd floor..The air-conditioning was not blowing that cool but overall stay was great..The breakfast is good and customer service great..My only negative they charge 100 dollars for incidentals.

The black lady staff working the evening shift seemed incredibly unprofessional to me. She was asleep and I had to knock multiple times to get her to open the door to the hotel. She looks slovenly and Had a trail of dirty Kleenexes Littered on the table top. She wasn’t pleasant and I found myself falling asleep watching her take her time to check me in which took 15 minutes. That’s not an exaggeration. The surrounding area probably cannot be helped, but it is pretty seedy. My hotel room would be best described as adequate. I would Fire that reception-ist immediately she’s the face of your organization; You don’t want her greeting Guests

We stayed for just one night at this hotel, the AC was barely working in August Texan heat, my family woke up sweating. Room felt dirty, carpet had trash in the corners, restroom in a sad condition, definitely expected to be more decent from Holiday Inn close to downtown Houston. Did not expect fancy, just normal and decent stay.

The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. Things to work on: 1.Attendants need to be at the front desk at all times!! plenty of times therecwas no one at the desk. 2.The breakfast was so-so. the same option every day. The oatmeal was more like soup, and the consistency was the same every single day. No non pork options, no half and half for coffee. The cinnamon buns were hot and tasty. This hotel is has potential!! please remove the fans from the main entrance floor, someone is going to trip and fall.

STAY AWAY!! Originally had booked for 2 weeks. During this time the Delta, cancellations occurred resulting in a delay of my flight. I was not able to arrive until 3 days later. During my time there, the staff did not want to clean the rooms when asking for sheets. They told me the workers were gone for the day. They called the police on my husband when he advised we needed clean linens. There was a water main break, and was left with no water for 3 days. The staff/mgmt was terrible. I checked out early because of the lack of water and they will not even think about giving me a partial refund. Stay away from this property!! I will be contacting my bank.

There was blood stain on my pillowcase. The register person was always missing, and we realized that she was sitting in the front on her phone, chatting. Honestly, you get what you paid for but I would pay a little more for better options.

Started off rough but otherwise fine
Unfortunately, not long after I checked in at 3pm, a water leak happened in the lobby, and the water was shut off so that repairs could be made. I talked to the front desk, and they said it would be fixed in an hour. 1.5 hrs later, I asked again, and they said it would be two more hours. We couldn't flush the toilets or take a shower. I had taken my kids to the swimming pool before the water was shut off so by the time we were done, we were not able to take a shower. we ended up leaving the hotel around 6 to keep our selves occupied and have dinner. when we returned at 11pm, the water was still not on. I asked if they had any sister properties we could move to, and they said they were full already. We didn't have any other options, so we stayed. I'm not sure when it came back on, but we had water when we woke up around 8am. I don't think they handled this well, but the staff was friendly and understood why people were frustrated. Our stay started off very rough but by the time we had water, I didnt have any other issues or complaints.

After checking in, my first room had hair in the bed and I switched rooms. The second room had a distinct smell that was disturbing. When I woke in the morning, the sheet had stains and the room was not cleaned when I returned. The next night I came into the room and it was used tissue on top of my bed. I complained, but my room could not be changed because of a system disruption. I complained the next morning and checked out of the hotel early.
