The rooms have a really strong chemical/cleaner smell that’s impossible to get used to. Upon arrival the toilet in the room didn’t flush and I had to issue a service order. The shower lost water pressure throughout my showers each day, basically turning off completely. I stayed here a year ago and had similar issues.

Arrived around 4 pm on Saturday evening. Had 1 staff person checking ppl in. It was 2 hours before an Astros game. Stood in a line in the lobby for 1 hour 10 minutes before getting checked in. Elevators were broke down. Sent to service elevators. Those then broke down. No stairs up to our room.

Daughter and I had an AMAZING stay. Hotel was close to Toyota Center in downtown Houston. Used complimentary shuttle. Drivers went above and beyond to accommodate us! Shout out to Jesse! Rooms extra clean, beds soft, cable TV and the best hot breakfast selection too! Hands down a great stay! Well done Hampton!

The hotel was very nice. It was walking distance to Minute Maid Park. The noise of downtown was loud, but could not be helped with the events that were happening. Would stay again.

Great place to stay. After I booked on Expedia I had a relative tell me the area isn’t good nor safe. So I looked up the reviews again and they weren’t that great. I almost booked at a different hotel but I held off. I’m glad I didn’t . Very nice place to stay, clean and the people are very courteous. The customer service is excellent!!

Check-in is a breeze. Valet parking is quick, efficient, and friendly. Our room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, as well. This hotel is conveniently located near Minute Maid Park. A quick walk to their Union Station gate.

This was the perfect property for a wonderful walk to a concert at Minute Maid park. Easy access to Saltgrass restaurant just a few blocks away. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms.

We needed to change a reservation from a King to 2 Queens and the staff told us they couldn't do it because there was a baseball game that night. As it happens, when I went online to book a second room, there were 2 Queen bedrooms available. We book there often for work reasons. You'd think they would have wanted make the swap, if possible.

The Hampton inn is catty corner from the Marriott, which is connected to the Convention center by skybridge. It’s a less expensive alternative to more expensive hotels.

Stayed at hotel for concert, but parking the day before through valet was awful! My car was left in the street waiting to be parked for over an hour. More help during check- in the day before an event close by is recommended to support customers checking in. Also…only one elevator out of 4 was working so there was a horrible line waiting for over 30 minutes for elevator when everyone was checking in. Check in the day before an event should be better prepared for.
