Pros -
Great location to MD Anderson, nice Apt. complex. Desk and chair if you work remote.
Cons -
Carpet was filthy and you could tell it hadn't been vacuumed. When I asked about a vacuum, I was informed they reached out to the housekeeper and "they didn't know what happened to it and that it had been missing for some time." They offered their housekeeping services, at a charge. We ended up purchasing a vacuum.
There were no cleaning supplies. We had to purchase those, too.
It took more than a week to get a fob to be able to use the gym.
There was the bare minimum kitchen supplies. I had to buy a pan, cookie sheet and baking dish. The pans that were there were rusted with baked on food.
There was no light in the kitchen when we got there.
The fridge leaked water all over the floor. We had to put a bowl in the fridge to catch the water and remember to empty it every other day.
The furnace filter looked like it hadn't been changed in years. It took 3 days to get that changed.
The bed frame was broken. We had to go buy 4 bricks to put under the bed frame so that my husband's head wasn't leaning towards the floor. (You could tell they tried to fix it with glue.)
Water was turned off twice and it was off most of the day. I reached out to the host. No response, so I asked the office. The office said the host was notified. We never heard anything from them.
You can't get mail or packages here, so you have to figure out a way to get mail and packages.
