Centrally located Modern Beauty

This property is a four story modern townhome located nestled inbetween two other units. It is located near what is known as the Washington Corridor which is a very centralized location near many of Houston's main attractions. The Washington Corridor is an area full of restaurants, bars and clubs that you can walk to. Also a short walk away is Memorial Drive, easily the most beautiful street in Houston with nature walking and biking trails and and a huge park with a golf club.
The first floor has a private two car garage for your use as well as a bedroom and bathroom with a shower. The bed in this room is a bunk bed with a full size bed on the bottom and a twin size bed on the top part of the bunk. Up the stairs on the second level is the kitchen, dining, and living room. There are floor to ceiling glass doors and windows that let in so much light. The living room has a large 65 inch television ready for your streaming subscriptions and free HBO. Right off of the living room is a small balcony. There is also a half bath on this level. The third floor hosts the oversized master bedroom with a king sized bed, desk and a television and a balcony off of the master bedroom. Also on this level is another bedroom with a queen size bed and full bathroom. The fourth level is a rooftop deck with seating to enjoy the view and cool breeze.

Spacious, nice neighborhood
Very spacious 3 bedroom for 4 of us, could easily accommodate 6 people. Beautiful high ceilings. This may not be the place for someone with mobility issues with all the stairs, but it was no problem for us. There is a rooftop patio, but the furniture was wicker and didn’t have any cushions (maybe b/c it was January, but it was comfortable temperature for a northerner), so we didn’t get to take advantage of that space.

Fun weekend!!
We were in town for a concert and loved staying at the house. Plenty of space for 6 of us. We found the check in and out process super simple and the host Karla was easy to message and get responses from. Getting downtown was super easy and there were plenty of restaurants close to the house to eat at.

NEVER HAD MY "CONFIRMED BOOKING"
SO I HAD A CONFIRMED BOOKING BUT NEVER GOT THE INSTRUCTIONS TO CHECK-IN. CONTACTED THE OWNER BUT THEREB WAS NO REPLY. CONTACTED VRBO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AFTER 45 MINS ON THE PHONE THEY WERE ABLE TO GET THE OWNER ON THE LINE. SHE SAID SHE NEVER GOT THE BOOKING THROUGH THE APP. AND SHE DOESNT KNOW HOW THAT HAPPEND AND THAT THE APP. NEVER NOTIFIED HER. THE PROPERTY WASNT READY BECAUSE OTHER PEOPLE WERE THERE THE SAME DAY WE WERE CHECKING IN. THE OWNER WAS APOLOGETIC BUT THAT DIDNT HELP THAT AFETR DRIVING 3.5 HOURS WE HAD NOWHERE TO STAY FOR THE NIGHT!! WE GOT OUR REFUND BUT WASNT OFFERED ANY TYPE OF COMPENSATION WHATSOEVER. WE WERE REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO STAYING HERE BUT NEEVR AGAIN!

This place was just perfect. Everyone had their privacy and met on the second floor for dinners cooked in the kitchen, cards and cocktails. Laundry room, two car garage. Really nice place to stay

Lots of positives about the overall property; great floor plan, convenient to restaurants, downtown, green space, responsive contact. When I selected, I noticed that there had been only 5 reviews but all positive. I generally concur, but challenge the property managers to ensure everything in place for new arrivals (e.g, sufficient towels/washcloths, batteries/functioning remotes for TV, garage remote, especially given required to park in the garage, a few maintenance issues.

A Modern Gem
Stayed at this beautiful townhome for a week over Thanksgiving. Host made sure we had everything we needed and then some. Great communication start to finish. Neat (quiet) neighborhood to explore, ate at a fun restaurant just a couple blocks away called The Cookshack. We travel to Houston on a regular basis and we will definitely make future reservations on our longer stays. Highly recommend!

The Best Host and Beautiful Townhome
The host/owner (Karla) was the best and nicest person helping me book her place at the very last minute. She was up past midnight trying to get my last minute reservation pushed thru correctly. It was not her fault, the system was kicking out some incorrect data. The townhome is beautiful and very very clean. The rooftop Terrance was very nice to sit out and have a glass of wine. I would definitely recommend her townhome, and I will stay again. The only thing I would say, if you can't walk stairs this is not for you. There are three levels and then another level to the rooftop Terrance. No big deal for me. Overall I will stay here again..I love all the windows. Thank you Karla, for being a very good host. You rock!!!!!
